BTWF: Annette Bening in The Great Outdoors
March 5th, 2026 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Annette Bening was married to the guy from Shampoo, she had shampoo in her hair in The Great Outdoors. She looks the same now as she did when she was 30 in that 1988 movie.

To hear what she told Seth Meyers on Late Night about working with a real bear in that film, then click here!

Want to smell like Twilight?
March 5th, 2026 under Twilight. [ Comments: none ]

2026 Lions Gate Entertainment Inc.

Vampires smell like death, and knowing that takes away from their sexiness, which we imagined oozed from them in movies like the ones in the Twilight franchise. So there has to be a way to make them smell better, and there is.

Lions Gates and Scentbird teamed up for Twilight Eau de Parfum, so that Bella and Edward can smell like life and not decay. And we can also smell like them.

The perfume is described as, “Plum butter opens with velvety warmth, blending into night-blooming tuberose and moon flower for a soft, after-dark glow. Notes of decadent macadamia and creamy woods finish the fragrance, capturing the essence of a story where love transcends time.”

Is that the fragrance you suspected that the non-living people of Forks, Washington, emitted? Whether you did or did not, you can now smell like it for a limited time.

A post shared by 9-1-1: Nashville (@911nashville)

Yesterday, ABC promoted Abbott Elementary to fifth grade. Today, the network told High Potential, 9-1-1, and 9-1-1 Nashville that they want the three shows back on the schedule next season.

High Potential is ABC’s most-watched show in the overnights, so a third season was a given. And 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville are always good to get buzz, so bring on season 10 and season 2, respectively.

Since the network made all four announcements on social media, I will be refreshing the Will Trent pages because ABC’s most-watched show after seven-day totals better be back to solve more crimes.

Which renewal are you most excited about? And which show’s future are you waiting to find out about?

The Boys is going out like a lion
March 5th, 2026 under Prime Video. [ Comments: none ]

The Boys is coming to an end this season, and we assumed it was going to be epic. Today, Prime Video released the trailer for its final season, and we are seeing that our assumptions were correct.

In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen.

The first two episodes drop on April 8, and we will get one a week until the sure-not-disappoint series finale on May 20th.

I think we’ll have a beef with Beef S2
March 5th, 2026 under Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

The first season of Beef dominated its awards season. So, people have been anxiously awaiting for the show’s second season. Today, we got the first look, and I have no fucking idea what it is about.

However, Netflix describes it as: BEEF returns with a new cast and a new “beef,” as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife. Newly-engaged Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan). Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho).

The drama streams on April 16th. Are you going to watch? I am still not over the gun scene that I assume is something many MAGA women have done, so I am a no.
