Reba McEntire was reunited with her Reba show creator, Kevin Abbott, and co-star Melissa Peterman at the start of her NBC sitcom, Happy’s Place.
Since the premiere, we saw her Reba son-in-law, Steve Howey, and ex-husband, Christopher Rich, appear on her new show.
That was season 1. Today, we found out that her Reba daughter, JoAnna Garcia, will guest star on an upcoming episode. She will play Kenzie, a local Knoxville influencer who has been hired to represent Happy’s Place for their upcoming social media marketing campaign and all of it is much to Bobbie’s (McEntire) chagrin.
Over the weekend, the Reba co-stars, including Reba’s fiancé, Rex Linn, who also stars on Happy’s Place, got together at a different restaurant, and now we know why. To celebrate Swisher’s appearance on the sitcom.
At this rate, they should just give us a Reba sequel. Because, like the singer, that show is a survivor!

Hulu might get a lot of award nominations for their comedies, but most of them (The Bear) are more dramedies than funny. However, Mid-Century Modern was hilarious. And the streamer didn’t know what to do with it. As a result, it is now resting in peace alongside the late Linda Lavin, who sadly passed away during the filming of the series.
The show’s creator, Max Mutchnick, broke the news on social media: “Ten great episodes… Not enough. But we loved making every single one of them. We’re gonna miss our very special show. Thanks to everyone who watched.”
Ten episodes were not enough. But it was enough for us to hear Lavin curse! And she was so good at it. As was it to see Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Nathan Lee Graham have some of the best chemistry on a television show in a really long time.
I will miss the laughs we could have gotten, but I appreciate the ones we got.
If you missed MCM, you can watch it on Hulu. Then you will see why, and so many others think the cancellation is a huge mistake.
