Stevie Nicks is in the middle of her tour, but she was forced to take a break because of a break.
The singer wrote: “Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled. Please note that October dates will be unaffected.
“More information will be available at point of purchase, ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets and consult the list of rescheduled dates. All previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new date.
“The concert schedule will resume on Wednesday, October 1″ in Portland, Oregon. Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for this inconvenience.”
Hopefully, she will be better soon. After all, she has to promote her album, Buckingham/Nicks, with Lindsey Buckingham, which comes out on September 16th!
After 27 years, six seasons, three movies, and a sequel series, Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw’s story is coming to an end with the final two episodes of And Just Like That…on HBO Max.
Michael Patrick King broke the news today: “And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end. While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”
Parker wrote her own goodbye, “Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all.
“I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her.
The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt. To you all.”
How do you want it to end? I would love it if they went back to the moment when she found Mr. Big dead on the Peloton. She is in such shock when she sees him that she runs to his lifeless body. However, she slips and bangs her head against the bike. The injury was so severe that she fell into a coma. So every episode since then has been her coma dream. And now that dream comes to an end, and Mr. Big comes to take her with him. This way, we know that SATC’s story is over over and will never be resurrected. That is, unless they give Samantha Jones gets a standalone series because she was the most interesting character of them all.
