This traffic report is a real pisser
March 27th, 2025 under TV News. [ Comments: none ]

There was a water main break in New Castle County, Delaware, and it was the story of the day for Fox29 in Philadelphia yesterday.

It was not because of the water coming from the ground. It was because of how traffic reporter Bob Kelly and anchor Mike Jerrick handled it on Good Day Philadelphia.

When Jerrick saw the water gushing up from the ground on the weather map, he had to go over there and have some fun. So he positioned himself to make it look like he was peeing all over the highway! And it looked like he drank a day’s worth of water in one sitting and finally made it to the urinal.

His stream was so strong, his urologist is going to be proud.

On that note, I hope he beats his prostate cancer. Laughing about it is the best medicine! So keep fighting. It is the most curable cancer when it is caught early!

The Jonas Brothers take themselves on tour!
March 27th, 2025 under Jonas Brothers. [ Comments: none ]

This might shock you, but the Jonas Brothers have been around for 20 years. To celebrate the milestone, they are going on tour.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas will be accompanied by an opening band. You might know them. It is the younger versions of the three brothers.

The sextet are so creepy. You will go from Camp Rock to Crazy Town, and eventually Shady Pines.

And yet, it won’t deter the Jonatics from going to the Jonas20: Living The Dream Tour. They should not wait too long to buy tickets because pre-sale starts today.

Where are you, Scooby-Doo? He’s coming to Netflix!
March 27th, 2025 under Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Scooby-Doo has been around since 1969, and we have seen him and the Scooby Gang in various iterations. Soon, we will see him in live-action again. This time on Netflix.

A modern reimagining of the iconic mystery-solving group of teens and their very special dog. During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.

Greg Berlanti, Executive Producer of Scooby-Doo: “One of my first and favorite jobs in Hollywood was sitting with Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera while they signed animation cells. Josh and Scott and everyone at Midnight Radio have crafted a story that captures their amazing spirits and their genius creation. We are grateful to them and everyone at Warners and Netflix for the partnership in helping bring this iteration of Scooby-Doo to life!”

I am assuming that they are in the early stages of casting. Who do you think they should cast in the infamous roles? I think that Sabrina Carpenter would be a beautiful pick for Daphne, Thomas Kuc (Game Shakers) is a groovy Fred, and zoinks Micah Abbey (TMNT: Mutant Mayhem) would be the perfect Shaggy. However, I can’t think of who should be play Velma.

I am rooting for this show to succeed because two guys from my hometown, Riverdale (ironically enough) are part of it.

BTWF: Morris Chestnut in Freddy’s Nightmares
March 26th, 2025 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Morris Chestnut was trying to solve medical mysteries on Watson, he was trying to figure out which college to attend in Freddy’s Nightmare. Even when he was 20 in that 1990 episode, he was still sexy.
