Squid Game’s final season is coming in June
January 30th, 2025 under Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

If you have already watched season 2 of Squid Game, then you have been eagerly anticipating the third season to see what happens next. Today, Netflix announced that the final episodes will drop on June 27th.

The third and final season of Squid Game follows Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) after losing his best friend in the game and being driven to utter despair by The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who was hiding his true identity to infiltrate the game. Gi-hun persists with his goal to put an end to the game, while the Front Man continues onto his next move and the surviving players’ choices will lead to graver consequences with each round. The world eagerly awaits to see the grand finale written and directed by Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who has vowed to bring the epic story to its deserved closure. Can we hope for humanity in the cruelest of realities? Fans all over the world are counting the days until the final answer is revealed.

Netflix isn’t lying. I am counting the days. I (Alexa) can tell you we have 147 days to see how it all ends. Are you going to be counting down too?

Before we get those episodes, we will be getting the third season of Ginny & Georgia on June 5th. So, at least we have something to keep us busy for a little while.

Wendell Pierce tells a Meghan Markle joke on Elsbeth tonight
January 30th, 2025 under CBS, Eric McCormack. [ Comments: none ]

In case you haven’t watched Suits yet, here is a little spoiler. Wendell Pierce played Meghan Markle’s father on the legal drama. So you would think he would never joke* about the Duchess. But he does tonight at 10p on CBS’s Elsbeth.

The police procedural is back with its first new episodes in 2025, and Elsbeth goes on a work vacation.

I say work vacation because she has to investigate the murder of a man who died coming back from a holistic wellness center in update New York.

The man was found dead after a car accident, and his death looks suspicious.

Captain Wagner (Pierce) assigns Elsbeth (Carrie Preston) to the case because he says it is one of those type of places where the Royals go to. And that is up her aisle.

When she gets there with Officer Blake (Carra Patterson), they meet Tom Murphey (Eric McCormack), the founder who puts everyone at ease. Elsbeth likes it and him so much that she decides to stay up there to investigate the case.

She will not only be working, but she will also be enjoying the center’s benefits, which includes Tom analyzing Elsbeth. He is going to give her some insight, which is really going to make her think about her life.

Before she can do that, she needs to solve the murder. As she gets closer to finding out who did it, the killer sets their eyes on her to be their next victim.

Will she be able to find out who did it before they do it to her? I think you know the answer to that because there is no series without the title character. But do you know who the murderer is? You don’t know, so you will have to tune in to find out.

*I just mentioned the joke to get to read the preview. Did it work?

Cupid shot an arrow through Dunkin’s heart!
January 30th, 2025 under Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

Valentine’s Day is 15 days away, and Dunkin’ is going all out for the day of love.

They are bringing back two fan-favorite donuts for the holiday. Cupid’s Choice Specialty Donut, filled with Bavarian Kreme and topped with strawberry-flavored icing and festive sprinkles, and the Brownie Batter Specialty Donut, filled with chocolatey, brownie batter-flavored butter creme and topped with chocolate icing and Valentine’s Day sprinkles.

That is not all. All of the stuffed donuts (the ones without holes) are temporarily shaped like hearts.

And there is more. Any donut or Munchkins donut hole with sprinkles will be covered with pink, white, and red heart sprinkles for a few weeks.

All of the above is available from now until February 18th.

Is Renée Zellweger done playing Bridget Jones?
January 30th, 2025 under Renee Zellweger. [ Comments: none ]

Renée Zellweger has played Bridget in four movies, including the upcoming Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

Is the actress ready to say goodbye to the role she has been playing since 2001? Yesterday, she told Deadline on the red carpet for the fourth film, “I’ll never be done with Bridget Jones. I love Bridget Jones. So, hopefully, Helen [Fielding] might, you know, spark something, want to share something through the Bridget character, again, down the line, you know?”

Will she get her wish? And do we need another Bridget Jones? It will be easier to answer after the movie hits theaters and Peacock the day before Valentine’s Day.
