As you know, LA is under fire, and people outside our city have been saying a lot of shit.
The other night, Dennis Quaid spoke with KNBC’s Robert Kovacikm and explained what it is like here. He explained the loss is not only felt by the homeowners but it is also being felt by the people who work on those houses.
Even though, a house is full of things. They are not worth risking your life over. But they are still someone’s home and life full of memories.
Watch this interview so that you can understand what we are going through. And please, pray for us.
For the last few days, the newspeople are the real stars in Hollywood. However, there was one star who wanted to be a reporter for the day.
KABC’s Josh Haskell shared this story, “An only in LA moment on Thursday at road block for #PalisadesFire Resident trying to gain access came up to news van as if he was part of our team, wanted to help cover, ride with us. Then, he pulled down his mask, smiled and it was Bill Hader! Couldn’t have been nicer!”
I love this story. It probably helped both of them to have this moment.
Can we take time to thank all of the newspeople who have been working nonstop and risking their lives to cover the fires.
Saturday Night Live has announced their next two hosts and musical guests. On January 18th, Dave Chappelle will be joined by GloRilla. The following week, Timothée Chalamet will be doing double duty.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, he is only the fifth non-musician to host and perform on the same episode. The other four are: Lily Tomlin, on Nov. 22, 1975 and Jan. 22, 1983; Desi Arnaz, on Feb. 21, 1976; Gary Busey, on March 10, 1979; and Deion Sanders, on Feb. 18, 1995.
Chalamet is playing Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown, which is getting the actor Oscar buzz. It is a smart move for him to prove to everyone that he could really sing, unlike someone else who recently won an Oscar for playing a musician but didn’t sing in the film.
Billy Joel was supposed to play the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida next Friday. However, today, his people announced he was rescheduling the concert to November 1st “because of a medical procedure.” But they did not say what it was for.
“I’m disappointed to share that I must postpone my concert at Hard Rock Live,” said Joel. “I appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone in November.”
Hopefully, it was minor and the Piano Man will be making people happy again with his music. His next show is scheduled for February 8th in Indianapolis.
