This is not Harvey Specter’s Suits!
January 24th, 2025 under Stephen Amell, Suits. [ Comments: none ]

NBC just released a full trailer for Suits LA, and the spinoff has a different feel than the original one. And that is a good thing. We wouldn’t want the same thing with different faces.

Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.

Are you going to watch the legal drama when it premieres on February 28th?

Is St. Elmo’s Fire 2 happening?
January 24th, 2025 under Rob Lowe. [ Comments: none ]

Over the summer, Andrew McCarthy released the doc Brats about him and the other Brat Pack members. The Brat Pack title came about from an article promoting the actors from St. Elmo’s Fire.

Therefore, there were rumors we are going to get a sequel 40 years after the original. And Rob Lowe addressed the rumors to Extra’s Terri Seymour.

She asked him about Demi Moore’s Golden Globe win. That is when he said that they have known each other for a while and did two movies (St. Elmo’s Fire and About Last Night) together. Then he shared with her, “We’re working on St Elmo’s Fire 2 together.”

However, there is no start date yet because they are waiting for the script to be finished before they begin filming.

I don’t know how thrilled I am for this movie. Truth be told, I found the first one boring, even though I liked looking at the actors in the film. After the doc came out, I discovered why the movie did not resonate with me, and that is because it is a Baby Boomer movie and not a Gen X one like the John Hughes cult classics.

Are you looking forward to then getting into motion for the film?

Shaq’s dreadsful new look
January 24th, 2025 under Shaquille O'Neal. [ Comments: none ]

We are used to seeing Shaquille O’Neal’s head as hairless as a basketball. However, he brought out his twin, Rashaun O’Neal, who has a full head of dreadlocks.

Do you think Shaq should go back to bald or keep the dreads? I like him just the way he is because I think he looks like a Komondor when he shakes his with the locs.

BTW Am I the only one who noticed that he is looking skinnier these days?

Fox gives Joel McHale another show
January 23rd, 2025 under Joel McHale. [ Comments: none ]

Gordon Ramsay better watch out because Fox gave Joel McHale his third series on the network.

McHale is the host of Crime Scene Kitchen and stars in Animal Control. If that is not enough, next season, he will also host the second season of The 1% Club, which moves from Prime Video to Fox.

“I am 1,000,000% excited to be partnering with FOX to host The 1% Club,” said Joel McHale. “I absolutely love the show and love the game play to the 10 and guarantee my hair, make up, and wardrobe will look great at least 68% of the time.”

What is the global international game show about? The 1% Club is a unique, compelling, and funny entertainment show that tests the nation’s intelligence, based on a scientific survey. It’s a chance to test how your brain works through a series of questions that all have a right answer but can also lead to a series of entertaining wrong answers along the way. Whether you’re a contestant vying for the cash prize or a viewer playing with your friends and family, answer enough questions correctly, and you could earn yourself a place in the 1% Club: an elite group of people who can honestly say they’ve outwitted 99% of the population.

Ryan O’Dowd, President of Unscripted, BBC Studios, Los Angeles Productions, said, “The 1% Club has proven to be a massive global hit, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with Rob Wade, Michael Thorn and the talented and passionate team at FOX who believe in this show and in our shared vision for this new season.”

Are you excited to see if you too can be one of the 1% who can outwit the public?
