Arby’s might have the meats, but it does not have a beef with Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer. The Roast Beef giant teamed up with the actors to put their BBQ sauces on two of their limited-edition sandwiches.
The new offerings include:
1/4 lb Pulled Pork Sandwich: Arby’s pulled pork is smoked for six hours over hickory wood, creating a delicious fusion of chunky bark pieces and juicy, smoky shreds of pork. Topped with sweet, garlicky-dill pickles and served on a toasted sesame seed bun, this sandwich brings you that perfect bite every time.
1/4 lb Brisket Sandwich: For those who crave a rich, meaty flavor, the 13-hour slow-smoked brisket is the star. With a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and a savory, smoky profile that’s hard to beat, this sandwich is topped with the same sweet, garlicky-dill pickles and served on a toasted sesame seed bun for that perfect balance of flavors.
Both sandwiches can be paired with two new sauces from Anthony and Cedric’s AC Barbeque line that take these mouthwatering bites to the next level:
Cedric’s Sweet Bussin Brown Sugar Sauce: A deliciously sweet and tangy BBQ sauce made with slow-cooked brown sugar, creating malt and caramel flavors that blend perfectly with the rich, meaty sandwiches. The sweetness is mouthwatering, making it impossible to stop eating!
Anthony’s Spicy Chipotle Smoke Sauce: This sauce brings the heat with chipotle peppers, offering a smoky and spicy kick that perfectly complements the smoky meat. Its complex and aromatic flavors make it a perfect pairing for both the pulled pork and brisket.
“AC BBQ is a labor of love,” said Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer. “We put so much time and energy into this product; we wanted to partner with Arby’s so that people across the country could feel like they are meeting us as they take a bite of their sandwich. We want these sandwiches to convey the joy, fun, and feel-good experience that barbeque brings, all while enjoying a great-tasting, quality sandwich.”
The scrumptious sandwiches are available nationwide starting today for just $5.99.
Before Wendie Malick was a prosecutor on Night Court, she was a lawyer on Highway to Heaven. She looks the same now as she did when she was 37 in that 1987 episode.
Tonight at 10p on NBC, it is time to get to know 12 chefs who get too hot in the kitchen. Chef José Andrés and Martha Stewart will work with the hot-tempered chefs to say no to their attitudes on Yes, Chef.
The baker’s dozen have been nominated by people in their lives who knew their anger issues in the kitchen are holding them back. So Andrés and Stewart will have their work cut out for them as each week the contestants are given tasks to test their temperament as well as their cooking skills.
The chefs, who prefer to work on their own, will have to cook in teams. Can they work with others, or will their hubris be their downfall, like yelling at a freshly baked soufflé?
Once they are done cooking up their concoctions, it is time for Andrés and Stewart to judge their dishes. Only one person can win, and that person will play a part in who gets eliminated. How? I can’t tell you, but I love that they switched things up in how they eliminate contestants.
Cooking competition shows have been doing the same old thing for a while, so it is nice to see something different. Plus, this show has the ability to change their lives in a way that just winning can’t.
However, there will be one person who will take home a prize, and it is $250,000 provided by the granola brand Purely Elizabeth.
And I think there is one person who will not be winning, and that is Katsuji Tanabe. Although I expect to see him on House of Villains season 3. If there is one. He is the most evil contestant I have seen on a competition show in a long time. But then again, I don’t watch that many.
He is good television as is Yes, Chef! So, tune in or NBC will send one of the Chefs after you.
Have you been wondering if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children take after him or her in the hair department? Now we know that Archie, almost 6, and Lilibet, 3, are redheads like their dad! So the royal ginger genes will live on! Well, that is if they are still royals.
Almost all of us hate to go to work. But not The Simpsons’ Nancy Cartwright. That is because as Bart Simpson, she is on her “way to burp and fart for a living.”
If that is what I did for a living, I also would have a bounce in my step and a smile on my face.
Why can’t we all have jobs like that? If we did, we would also stay at our jobs for 38 years and counting, instead of wanting out after 38 weeks.
