The Vikings’ White Chicks interception dance
December 9th, 2024 under Sports figures, Wayans Brothers. [ Comments: none ]

In 2004, the Wayans brothers released a little movie called White Chicks. Twenty years later, it is still influencing others!

Yesterday, when The Minnesota Vikings’ Josh Metellus and Camryn Bynum scored an interception against the Atlanta Falcons, the two Safeties did a Safety Dance. Sorry, wrong song. They did the dance that Marlon and Shawn Wayans did in the comedy. And they nailed it.

Talking about nails. The two football players were just six years old when the film came out.

All Jensen Ackles wants for Christmas is to sing with Mariah Carey!
December 9th, 2024 under Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

We know Jensen Ackles as the action-ish star with a very dry sense of humor. But that is not all he wants to be known as.

Over the weekend, at the Supernatural Creation event celebrating the series’ 20th anniversary, he revealed what he really wants for Christmas. “For years, I’ve often thought, if I can do this song [All I Want for Christmas is You] with Mariah [Carey], I would be one of these guys,” he said before demonstrating why he would be the perfect man to be one of her backup dancers.

Do you think he could be one of Mariah’s Boys? I think he has a supernatural talent to be as cheesy as a Christmas cheese log!

Barry Keoghan has a message for the Carpenters
December 8th, 2024 under Barry Keoghan. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, we found out that Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan broke up. However, her fans are taking it hard. So hard; they have been going after the actor on social media and in person. Therefore, he has a message for them.

I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don’t respond too.

I have to respond now because it’s getting to a place where there are too many lines being crossed. I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work. The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine.

Dragging my character and everything I worked extremely hard for and stand for.
Talking about how I was a heroine baby and how I grew up and dragging my dear mother into it also.

Knocking on my grannies door.

Sitting outside my baby boys house intimidating them. Thats crossing a line.

Each and every day I work harder to push myself on every level to be the healthiest and strongest person for that boy. I want to provide opportunities for him to learn, fail and grow. I want him to be able to look up to his daddy, to have full trust in me and know I will have his back no matter what.

I need you to remeber he has to read ALL of this about his father when he is older.

Please be respectful to all
Thank u x

There is a massive difference between fandom and fan dumb, and this is fans being dumb. Couples break up; there is no reason to go after someone like this.

Judy Garland’s stolen ruby slippers sold for $28 million
December 8th, 2024 under Auctions. [ Comments: none ]

There are many iconic artifacts from movie sets, but some might say the most iconic artifact is the ruby slippers that Judy Garland wore in The Wizard of Oz.

There are four known pairs. One is in the Smithsonian, and another pair was stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2005 by ex-mobster Terry Martin. They were recovered 15 years later and went out on public auction this month for the first time.

On December 7th, the shoes sold for $28 million ($32.5 million with the commission that the buyer pays), $25 million more than Heritage Auctions was expecting them to go for.

Heritage Auctions says: “The Ruby Slippers are a vintage pair of Innes Shoe Co. red silk faille heels with uppers and heels covered with hand-sequined silk georgette, lined in white leather, and the leather soles are painted red with orange felt adhered to the front foundation of each shoe. The bows are made of hand-cut buckram cloth and are slightly different in size. Rhinestones rim the bows, which are filled with bugle beads surrounding three center jewels. The left shoe has a slightly thicker, shorter heel with a Cat’s Paw rubber top lift cap. The right shoe has a slightly taller, thinner heel with a leather top lift cap. Both lift caps are painted red.”

The auction house did not say who bought them. However, whoever did is a very lucky person! I hope they share them with the world and don’t keep them to themselves.
