Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken were reunited on her daytime talk show yesterday, and they got to catch up. However, the first American Idol forgot something about her old friend, a very important thing.
What is it? While sharing with the audience that they spent a lot of time together, she said to her friend, “We toured after you won [American Idol].”
There is only one problem: he didn’t win. Ruben Studdard did. Whoops!
Luckily, they share such a special bond in which he didn’t get upset about her mistake, and she didn’t get mad when he corrected her on air.
That is what happens when you have been friends with someone for 21 years. The little things don’t bother you!
However, on a side note, I had a friend who I didn’t talk to for a year because I thought that Clay should have won and she was like Ruben deserved it.
Maybe it is because I have been talking to my guy friends about blow jobs recently, but as soon as I saw this Guinness World Record, that is what I was thinking about when I saw Leah Shutkever trying to break the record for Fastest Time to Eat a Yule Log. Tell me you see it too, so I don’t feel as bad.
Did she do it? She did. She swallowed it in 1 minute and 42.65 seconds. Sometimes, I wish I could break that record. Maybe it is because I don’t swallow, which is why I have not.
Back to Shutkever, the competitive eater has 40 Guinness World Records and counting.
Sony is releasing another Karate Kid movie on May 30th, this time with Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, who starred in the shitty remake that Will Smith made to make his untalented son happy.
But I digress. Today, they released the first trailer, and I think it was a waste of money.
After the success of Cobra Kai, they needed to go big or go home. This is the case where they should’ve gone home.
Macchio is better than this. Or maybe he isn’t.
It is too bad it is too late to wax Karate Kid Legends off.
Kelly Clarkson is one of the most competitive people in the world. Thus, she is always up for a challenge.
Therefore, when she heard that Elle Fanning had never lost a staring challenge, the American Idol wanted to see if she could take the actress down before her eyelids went down.
So, yesterday, when Fanning was on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the two stared at each other to see who would blink first.
Who lost? As you can see, it was the host. She barely lasted five seconds!
Thankfully, she didn’t let her only loss get her down like her eyelids.
Mariah Carey has been on the road with her annual Christmas tour for the last month. However, she had to cancel the last three dates because she has the flu. They were the last three out of her four dates, so people were wondering if she would play her final show tonight in Brooklyn.
The answer is yes. The singer shared a video of herself walking in Manhattan looking healthy and assuring fans, “Brooklyn, I can’t wait to see you!!!”
If I were her fans in Pittsburgh, Newark, and Bellmont Park, especially the latter, I would be pissed. She was not well enough to sing on Sunday, but she was healthy enough to eat out on Monday. All I’d want for Christmas is for Santa to put coal in her stocking.
