I don’t know about you, but I watched Elf over the holiday season. And I got to thinking, what would Buddy the Elf be up to today?
Now, we know. He would be drinking and smoking at an LA Kings game because inside the arena during a hockey game feels like the North Pole.
The drinking and smoking are because no one has the holiday spirit anymore. And even if everyone in America sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town like it was, Hands Across America, it couldn’t bring it back, which is why Santa Claus’ sleigh crashed and has not been seen since…or before.
Last Christmastime, Michael Bolton announced that he underwent surgery for a brain tumor and would take some time off to recover.
That was a year ago, and we have not seen the singer since. However, over the Christmas holiday, he shared two photos with his family. In those photos, the Grammy winner is looking healthy. That could be why he wrote, “Here’s to fresh starts and beautiful moments in 2025!”
Hopefully, we will have plenty of those from him because he and his music bring so much joy.
