Before Lisa Whelchel was able to talk to her roommates on The Facts of Life, she was talking for a dummy on The Mickey Mouse Club. How cute was the 14-year-old in that 1977 episode?

Last week, Pauly Shore announced that he is making a biopic about Richard Simmons. And The Weight Saint broke his nearly decade of pretty much silence to say he did not give permission for the film to be made.

Since then, Simmons has written two more messages on Facebook. The first one, was a message telling us to be “happy and peaceful” and that he is praying for us.

Today’s message was an update about him. “I wanted you all to know that I am fine and I am happy,” Simmons wrote. “I have had a lot of people ask me for interviews. But right now I don’t want to do them. It is a gray and rainy day here in Los Angeles, but my heart is filled with your kindness towards me.”

Am I the only one getting the feeling that he might be getting ready to return to the public eye? With these latest posts, the comments are reminding him how much we love him. Maybe that reminder is just what he needs.

If he decides to come out of hiding, we are here to welcome him with open arms. If not, then our arms are still open to him, and we send him virtual hugs!

Most of the time, I love TikTok. However, this weekend, they shared a video on my For You page that has been driving me crazy.

The person who goes by Clyde Allen Green says he is a child actor who acted in a few early ’80s sitcoms, and do we know we know who he is?

He also gave us three hints:
-I didn’t have the scar on my eyebrow back then.
-I recently returned home after a sailing sabbatical for 24 years.
-And of course my username isn’t my real name. My loyal fans should recognize me.

Here are a few more hints: the actor was born in 1969, welcomed his first child when he was 16 in 1985 and appears to be living in Key West, Florida.

No one appears to have guessed who he is yet. So, I am asking you if you know who that mystery star is.

I reached out to a few friends who are more knowledgeable in early ’80s television than I am, and they are also perplexed.

Sadly, all my friends, who were child stars in the ’80s, did not become that until the late ’80s, so they would be no help.

Since my friends and my brain are useless, I hope you can be of some use to me. There is no prize. Just the knowledge that you helped people solve a mystery. And that is a prize in itself.

Seriously, please help. This has been driving me crazy because I know I should know the answer, but I don’t. And I keep trying to research the answer with no success. HELP!

Tomorrow, the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences will announce their nominations for the “best” movies of 2023. But today, the Razzies announced the worst of last year.

It was another bad year for Sylvester Stallone, who found himself and his movie Expend4bles receiving seven nominations. Blumhouse was one behind him with five nominations for The Exorcist: Believer and one for Five Nights at Freddy’s. The DC Universe’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods tied Marvel’s Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania with four nominations each. While the dispicable Horror movie Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey beat them out with five nods.

I tried to write in Terrifier 2 for several categories, but I guess I was alone. I also attempted to get Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi’s bathwater nominated for Worst Screen Couple, but that was also rejected.
