Before Kal Penn went to college with Van Wilder, he was in a study group with Sabrina the Teenage Witch. He looks the same now as he did when he was 23 in that 2000 episode.
Kal Penn went to Sesame Street. And he came out grouchier than when he went in.
That is because Oscar the Grouch put the actor in his place. As in, Penn was seen in Oscar’s trash can. And for some reason, the former White House employee doesn’t look happy about it? I don’t know why because they always have sunny days on Sesame Street!
Maybe all Penn needs is what Kumar had when he was on the way to the White Castle?
Remember when Charlie Sheen and EP Chuck Lorre worked together on Two and a Half Men? And then, the actor was fired because he was reportedly struggling with drugs and alcohol, along with having a public meltdown and going off on his boss.
Well, that boss is a masochist because Deadline is reporting that Sheen and Lorre are going to be working together again.
Lorre has a comedy called How To Be a Bookie coming to Max, and he hired Sheen for a recurring role. The show is described as a veteran bookie (Sebastian Maniscalco) struggles to survive the impending legalization of sports gambling, increasingly unstable clients, family, co-workers, and a lifestyle that bounces him around every corner of Los Angeles high and low.
We don’t know what Sheen will be doing on the series, but I am hoping he is one of the unstable clients. He won’t even have to act if that is the case. Maybe that is why Lorre opted to work with Sheen again.
Who knows, maybe Lorre will also want to work with some of his other troublesome stars like Roseanne Barr, Brett Butler, and/or Cybill Shepherd on Bookie? So yeah, he is a masochist, but is he that much of one?
It has been 3years since music executive José Menéndez and his wife, Kitty, were shot and killed. Their sons, Lyle and Erik, were convicted of their murder in 1996 after a very public trial.
During their trial, the Menéndez brothers alleged that their father physically and sexually abused them. But, there was no evidence found to support that claim.
However, their case might be reopened because Menudo’s Roy Rosselló is telling Peacock that he was raped by José Menéndez.
During the three-part series, Rosselló will share his story in Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed. The streamer says he “could be the key to changing how the public views the brothers’ case while simultaneously crusading for his own justice.”
Rosselló joined the Puerto Rican boy band in 1983 when he was just 13 years old and was a member until 1986. The band was famous for kicking out bandmates when they got too old, which the joke was hitting puberty.
This is not the first time that a member of the group claimed they were raped or sexually abused by someone. But it was the first time that someone said that it was José Menéndez.
It will be interesting and heartbreaking to hear what is revealed in the limited series that starts streaming on May 2nd.
