If you mispronounce Barbra Steisand’s last name, she is going to let you know in not the nicest of ways. However, Zoe Saldana is OK with it.
This morning on Good Morning America the actress explained why. “I am a crossbreed [Puerto Rican and Dominican],” she said. “I was born and raised here in America. So it is whatever way people can pronounce it. We are just a melting pot of so many cultures. I don’t hold it against anybody.”
Do you hear that Katherine Heigl? We are Americans, and we are trying our best to understand everyone, their cultures, and how they say their names. Give them an A for effort. I have a common last name, and people still say it incorrectly. The way they say it makes it sound sexy. So I am OK with it.
Back to the Center Stage (because that is one of my favorite movies) star, how do people pronounce it? They either say Sal-dan-ah or Sal-don-ya.
Shady Pines, I am on hold because little Miley Cyrus turned 30 years old on November 23rd. It is not that I ever thought she wouldn’t make it to the big 3-0. It is just that I can’t believe that she is 30.

Sweet dreams are made of this (I still think it is these) for Eurythmics’ fans. Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox recently reunited when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And now it looks like their reunion will not be a one-night stand. That is because Mirror is reporting that they were offered $100 million to do a 40-date global tour.
As of now, they are early in talks about a tour and a possible album. So anything could happen.
Even though they have reunited a few times this century for one-off performances, they have not been on tour together since 1999.
So this tour would make their fans extremely happy. Are you one of them?
Will Smith was going to have a meet & greet with some people who saw his new movie. Before he could meet them, he had to take a COVID-19 test to make sure he was negative.
During the test, he cried out like a baby. Do you know who doesn’t cry like a girl when he puts a swab up his nose? Chris Rock! Now, that is a man for you!
Oh, and Smith tested positive for COVID-19. Poor baby.
