From Laura Linney's peplum gown to Jerrod Carmichael's fur coat and Seth Rogen's bleached hair, white was a go-to color at this year's Emmy Awards. pic.twitter.com/T05VsfMDA3
It is common knowledge to us commoners that you don’t wear white after Labor Day. However, the Emmys red carpet was covered with celebs like Andrew Garfield, Jean Smart, Seth Rogen, Oprah Winfrey, Toheeb Jimoh, Nicholas Braun, and Kerry Washington draped in the banned color from neck to ankle. The travesty! They should be ashamed of themselves.
This is what happens when P Diddy becomes irrelevant. Celebs don’t know that his white party is the official going away event for wearing white until Memorial Day. We must do better.
BTW Does anyone know why we don’t wear white after the first Monday of September?
Access Hollywood decided to share some tweets with celebrities about themselves on the red carpet. When Henry Winkler got down to them, the beloved actor read one that called him “underrated DILF.”
Since the 76-year-old is so innocent, he didn’t know what a DILF stands for. Therefore, the reporter had to explain it to him. What did he think when they told him it is a dad they’d like to fill in the blank? The Fonz loved it so much that he wanted to keep it!
And that is why Winkler is a DILF that a lot of us are DTF!
Before Quinta Brunson was an Emmy winner, thanks to her show Abbott Elementary, she got her start in How To Be The Perfect Woman (According To Men). The 24-year-old stood out in that 2014 short.
ABC released the first trailer for the second season of Abbott Elementary, and the sitcom about teachers is still bringing the laughs. Actually, it looks like Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, and Sheryl Lee Ralph have graduated to giving us even more humor. Because of that, September 21st can’t come soon enough!
