Some people are going to tell you that tonight’s episode of Ghosts on CBS at 9p is all about the new ghost that lives one the attic, who was murdered on her way to the prom. Not me. I am going to tell you how Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) got an Alexa and that one of the Ghosts can make it work with their voice.
See, isn’t that more interesting than telling you about Stephanie (Odessa A’Zion), the bitchy teen who was slaughtered by a chainsaw killer while she made out with her boyfriend on the way to their prom? Now, Stephanie sleeps all but one day out of the year, and she wants to have a ghost prom where no livings are allowed. Why? Because she has a crush on pantless Trevor (Asher Grodman), who has a crush on Sam. However, he still sees her as a teen even though they are the same age.
We know that Stephanie wants to go with Trevor, and he doesn’t want to go with her. So how are Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Pete (Richie Moriarty), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Sass (Román Zaragoza), Flower (Sheila Carrasco), and Thor (Devan Chandler Long) going to pair up for their special night?
Oh, and did I mention that Stephanie hates Sam and does something mean to her? How will the other Ghosts react to what she did? You are not going to want to miss it.
After the pandemic, several networks thought we wanted dramas. However, CBS knew we needed a comedy with heart. So each week, Ghosts delivers us an episode that leaves us feeling warm and fuzzy like we did in 2019. Remember the good old days? This sitcom helps recapture the happiness of those days.
