Yesterday was Jerry O’Connell’s 47th birthday, so the women in his life gave him a cake with 47 candles on it. When it came time to blow them all out, he ran into a little problem. He was wearing a mask, and his breath couldn’t get through it to blow them all down. Therefore, he didn’t get his wish.
Hopefully, the O’Connells found a way to extinguish it before they burned the house down because that is a lot of candles with a lot of fire attached to them.
To all the maskholes out there, see masks do work. It prevents the spread of COVID-19. That and birthday wishes. Although if you wear a mask, then you have a better chance of do-overs because you will have more birthdays to celebrate.
Judi Dench’s grandson Sam Williams wanted to see if his grandma knows the lyrics of some popular songs. Those three songs are Jason Derulo’s Let Me Take You Dancing, Ed Sheeran’s Castle on the Hill, and Jonas Brothers’ Sucker.
How did the Oscar winner do? If this acting thing doesn’t work out, she should try being a lyricist. She did a better job with all of the songs than the original writers. Sorry. Ed Sheeran.
Don’t believe me? Listen to the answers she gave her grandson.
BTW I loved that she said she likes Derulo. It would’ve been awkward if she didn’t know who her Cats co-star is. Then again, I am sure all of the actors in that movie are trying to forget they were part of it.
Blanco Brown’s single The Git Up is so much fun that a company made an animatronic horse that plays the song and dances to it.
As soon as the country singer got his hands on one, he had to test it out. There was only one problem, the cute little doll took one too many steps to the left, to the left, and did the slide off the table. I don’t think that is what he meant when he sang, “Do the slip and slide” in the tune.
Luckily no horses were harmed in the making of this video.
BTW My birthday is coming up. If anyone wants to buy me one, I would do a Do Si Do if you did.
CBS has had a busy day. First, they picked up The Neighborhood and Bob Hearts Abishela. Then they cancelled Mom. Now, Deadline is reporting that NCIS: New Orleans will end its 7-season run on May 16th.
“Sad to end our love affair with this phenomenal city but so grateful for all the friends we made along the way,” Scott Bakula said. “I will miss the music. Big thank you to CBS for seven years.”
That means Bakula is freed up to do a Quantum Leap revival, so I am good with this. Not that there is one in the works, but there can be now.
Back to NoLA, the cancellation probably means that NCIS: Hawaii will be a go. What that means for NCIS: Mothership and Mark Harmon’s future with the drama, we will find out soon enough.
