Yesterday, the Biden Inaugural team announced who will be performing for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during the nighttime festivities of January 20th. Today, we found out who will be part of the daytime events.
The participants for the 59th Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony are:
Invocation – Father Leo J. O’Donovan
Pledge of Allegiance – Andrea Hall
National Anthem – Lady Gaga
Poetry Reading – Amanda Gorman
Musical Performance – Jennifer Lopez
Benediction – Reverend Dr. Silvester Beaman
I think that Lady Gaga is a brilliant choice to sing the National Anthem because she has such a powerful, beautiful voice. J-Lo, they could have done better. She just is the opposite of what they stand for, and that is unity and caring. I think the singer only cares about herself.
Back in October, Jeff Bridges revealed that he was diagnosed with lymphoma. In order to fight the cancer, he is undergoing chemotherapy. The other day, he went in to find out how he was doing with the trearment, and he shared the update with us.
“January 6th I go in for a CAT scan to see if my new protocol is shrinking my tumor,” he wrote. “Turns out it’s working beautifully. The thing has drastically shrunk.”
Hopefully, it will continue to shrink to the point that it completely disappears.
Back in 2019, Spectrum picked up and aired a Mad About You revival. Since then, we have been waiting to find out if it would get a second season. Today, Paul Reiser finally answered that question.
“That’s it for now…,” Reiser said. “Hope you’re enjoying these. we’re all quite proud of how they came out.”
Are you sad we only got one more for the time being, or are you grateful that we got at least one?
Before Debbie Allen was married to Richard Webber on Grey’s Anatomy, she was engaged to J.J. on Good Times. The 25-year-old actress looked dyn-o-mite in that 1976 episode.
