We should name the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine after Dolly Parton
November 17th, 2020 under Coronavirus, Dolly Parton. [ Comments: none ]

NEIM

Last week, I got into a debate with my cousin’s wife over the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19. She told me that we should call it the Trump vaccine. That is when I explained to her that he didn’t fund the development and research, only distribution of it. Therefore, it is not his to be named after.

Well, that was the first potential vaccine. The second one from Moderna, which was announced yesterday, has a famous person who helped fund its development and research. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, the Dolly Parton COVID-19 Research Fund (Vanderbilt University Medical Center) helped to support it financially. Therefore, we should name it after her.

Let’s be honest. Who doesn’t want to have a little Dolly Parton in them? The World would be a better place if we were all a little like her.

Plus, I think a lot of people, who are hesitant to get it, would be more willing to get the shot if they had to ask the doctor for the Dolly Parton.

The Dolly Parton can cause you to be happy, witty, the ability to play songs on your nails, loved by all, and may even make your breasts grow. Sign me up for the trials because I want this cure as soon as possible.

Now let’s talk about the difference between Trump and Miss Parton. He took credit for the vaccine as if he made it himself, and he didn’t do squat. In contrast, she has not uttered a peep about it. Her involvement only saw the light of day when someone read the fine print. That is why we love her, and he had to brainwash people to like him. Being humble is a much better trait than being an ignorant, egomaniac, psychopath. Seriously, there is no comparison.

UPDATE: Dolly Parton talked about her donation that helped to make the vaccine possible on Today today. The singer didn’t even know her money helped to make a difference.

“I’m just happy that anything I can do can help somebody else,” Parton said. “When I donated the money to the COVID Fund, I just wanted it to do good. And evidently, it is. Let’s just hope we find a cure, real soon.”

When Gd made her, he used his best clay! She is humble, generous, and so full of light and love.

Last week, The Good Doctor’s Richard Schiff and his real and TV wife, Sheila Kelley, announced that they both tested positive for COVID-19 on Election Day. Today, they both gave an update on his condition because it took a turn for the worse.

“Thank you all for so much love and support. You’re making it so much easier for @thesheilakelley and me,” the 65-year-olf actor wrote, “I am in the hospital on Remdesivir, O2 and steroids showing some improvement every day. Sheila is home and doing better but still fairly ill. Love you all.” Since he is Tweeting from his hospital bed, it would seem that he is improving.

While Kelley wrote, “The last 72 hours have been tough. LOML @therichardschiff is now in the hospital on oxygen and remdesivir. Thank you all of you for the prayers and love. We feel them. He’s doing better. Getting stronger.”

Let’s hope he is better soon and back filming the ABC medical drama with the love of his life. When it comes to the show, Deadline says that production remains in full effect and they are working around their absences.

BTWF: Rick Hearst in Brain Damage
November 16th, 2020 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Rick Hearst starred in General Hospital, a hospital could not save what his little friend did to a girl he met at a club in Brain Damage. He looks the same now as he did when he was 22 in that 1988 movie.

So over the weekend, I watched Brain Damage on Tubi TV, and I could not get over the BJ scene. That is definitely the most fascinating and best one I have ever seen on the screen, and I have seen a lot of horror movies. Most of the time, it involves a man’s dick going into the wrong vajayjay. Thus, it was nice to see things changed up.

Seriously, I never thought anything could top the one in One Eyed Monster, but this one does.

I am grateful that I saw this movie now, and not when I was watching him on soap operas. That would have weirded me out. Actually, nah, I would have had a bigger appreciation for Hearst!

If you need something fun to watch, then check out the film on Tubi for free. I promise you will be laughing with it. How Hearst didn’t get the Oscar is beyond me. It truly is a classic, and like I said, I have seen over a ton of horror flicks.

Matt Bomer is one of the few men who can work a mustache
November 16th, 2020 under Matt Bomer. [ Comments: none ]

I will be honest with y’all; I do not like a man with a mustache. There are a few exceptions, like Tom Selleck, Freddie Mercury, and Tom Selleck. Now, there is a new man that I can add to the list, and it is Matt Bomer.

“For anyone wondering why I have this lip rug on my face, it’s because I’m taking part in Movember this year. Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health, and this year felt like a particularly good time to join them. Together we can make a difference for men’s health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention,” the Doom Patrol actor said. “I’m a long time supporter of Movember (honestly since Magnum PI) but this is my first time participating- so click the link…if you can chip in and help me stop men dying too young.”

Doesn’t he look like Errol Flynn with the “bro-merang”? I think he should keep it. What do you think? Sadly, he might not make it the whole month. That’s because even if we like it, there is one important person in his life that doesn’t. Who is it? His husband is not a fan. We all know how it goes; the spouse always wins.

Back to Bomer. Not only does he look sexy with a stache, but he would also look sexy with or without hair on his face and/or his head. I don’t think there is anything that could make him look unappealing. Can you think of anything he can’t make look hotter than hot?
