Oprah Winfrey made a name for herself as the most loved talk show host, but then she got her own network. Every now and again, she still does interviews on OWN. However, not enough.
Well, now she is back doing what we love her for, interviewing people on important issues starting this Thursday. Lady O wrote, “It’s time to bring humanity back to the conversation. Tune in to my new show #TheOprahConversation, where I’ll be joined by fascinating guests to have conversations that unite us—not divide us. Watch 7/30 on @AppleTV.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first episode is available for free. Maybe this is what we need to unify our divided country. If anyone can do it, it is Oprah!
Before Regis Philbin had his own talk show, he had one on San Diego’s KFMB. It is nice to see he did not change his style from what he did when he was in his early 30’s back in the early ’60s.
With everything going on, I forgot that Drew Barrymore is getting a talk show. But she is, and The Drew Barrymore Show is debuting on September 14th.
Before the big launch, she will be doing several viral series on YouTube to promote it. They are The Making Of The Drew Barrymore Show, The Art of the Interview, Drew’s Cookbook Club, and Drew’s Movie Nite. When it comes to the latter, she will be watching Good Burger with Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell on July 30th.
It will be interesting to see if she does her talk show from the studio or at home. With everything being in such flux, I am sure even she doesn’t know where it is going to happen. Am I the only hoping she does it in Santa Clarita?
Even though we have known for over five months that Sophie Turner was pregnant with her first child with husband, Joe Jonas, neither of them confirmed it. However, now they are.
Their reps told People, “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby.” They did not say any more than that. However, TMZ is reporting she gave birth to their baby girl, Willa, on Wednesday!
