Tonight at 8p on Fox, The X-Files does their take on It. A young boy goes missing in a small town in Connecticut and then his body is found in the woods. Because his father is a cop, Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Mulder (David Duchovny) are called into investigate. The locals thinks it is an open and shut case because they think an animal did it, but Fox knows it is something more.

He is right because the kids favorite television characters are showing up and they are killing them. But why? Wait until you see the first creepy character, he has been giving me nightmares for days. He makes Pennywise look lovable. It really something you don’t want to miss out on.

Tomorrow night Chicago Fire celebrates its 100th episode at 10p, but the celebration begins tonight on 10p on NBC with Chicago PD. Platt (Amy Morton) is being interviewed live at a local new station at the same time someone decides to blow it up. She is knocked out, but she survives. She tries to help the few survivors there are until Chicago PD and Chicago Fire to help even more.

Once everyone is out, Chicago PD gets their first lead. As they call him out to him, someone put a bomb in his mailbox and it goes off. He is OK and now he is a suspect for the bombings. There’s only one problem, another bomb goes off. Now, Chicago is on high alert and it is all hands on deck to find this person before they kill again.

That is when Voight (Jason Beghe) asks the Chief (Eamonn Walker) if he can use Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) to help him distract a suspect in his house so that can put something on his computer. He refuses because he does not want to put them in danger. But you know these ladies will do anything for the job.

That is where tonight’s episode ends and tomorrow night’s begin. And that is when things really get explosive, so you do not want to miss the two-night crossover.

The members of Johnson C. Smith’s University Alpha Phi Alpha had a big show on Friday night at the CIAA Tournament and Jason Harper from Fox 46 in Charlotte, NC was sent out to interview them about it. But you cannot just talk to them about it, you have to let them show off their steps.

After a quick demonstration, Harper decided to join in. Or as he put it, “I didn’t want to show them up because this is THEIR special moment. So I ‘acted’ like I didn’t know what I was doing or that I am ‘rhythmically challenges’ when in reality…I am rhythmically challenged and don’t have a CLUE what I’m doing!!!” Can anyone deny his assessment. Even though, he cannot Step, he gave it his all. And that is a Step in the right direction1

Five-year-old Duncan decided to answer the age old question, “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie lollipop?” The cute little kid would take a lick from the pop and then put a line down on the paper with a marker to count the total when he was done. The tyke was so into lick, write and repeat that he did not realize until it was too late that he licked from the wrong hand. His reaction is beyond priceless.

Thankfully, he had way more than 100 licks to go to get the taste of magic marker out of his mouth.

Was all of his hard work worth it? Yes it was because the answer in 193. No word if he counted that marker lick as one.

It was time for another Mean Tweets for musicians on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and they actually nailed some of the artists.

The said Nick Jonas looks like a ferret now. While Alice Cooper looks like a ball sack with face paint on it. But they also nailed some of the musicians’ sounds like, “Common is the Pottery Barn of rappers.” Then there Dave Gahan who was told, “If you are a guy listening to Depeche Mode, reach into your vagina and pull your balls back down.” Which is accurate, I once ran into an ex at a DM show and his balls were way up there.

And of course the ABC talk showsaved the best for last. “I left more talent in my toilet this morning than Green Day has ever had. Green days sucks dicks.” Jason White told their hater, “I am glad are thinking about us while you are taking dumps. We’re doing something right.” Billie Joe Armstrong added, “We will be thinking about you while we are sucking dicks.” Why didn’t anyone ever tell me Green Day is this cool? Whenever I think about them, I think of their song being used in the Seinfeld finale. And that is not a bitchin’ thing like when Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing was in The Sopranos finale.

Back to Green Day, someone needs to give them a variety special so we can see their humor shine through. Make it happen.
