MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson is down in West Palm Beach, Florida covering the president, who is on vacation there yet again, and she had an unexpected surprise during one of her liveshots. There was not one, not two, but three T-Rexes fighting behind her and she told Today that she did not even know about it until the commercial break.
You know what, that is not weirdest thing we have seen this year and it is also not the strangest thing to happen in Florida in 2017. How sad is that? Since I lived in Florida, I can say that and you cannot.
Lainie Kazan spent Christmas Eve at a police and it is because she allegedly shoplifted $180 worth of merchandise from Gelson’s that included Comet and Jell-O but no Windex. Now TMZ is reporting that was not the first time she did that at that grocery market and they were on the lookout for her.
The news site described what an employee told them she would do the days leading up to her arrest, “she would fill up her basket and pretend to walk toward the checkout line, but would then make a quick exit out the door as another group of customers was leaving.” In fact that employee says that they have security footage to backup their story. I am assuming that is one of the only times that an actor does not want to be in front of a camera.
TMZ says they spoke to her lawyer who told them the store, “overreacted and didn’t give her a chance to pay.” I do not have a law degree, but isn’t it the law that you pay for the items before you leave the store. If you do not, then I thought you have committed crime. But again, I do not know the law.

Rose Marie passed away today at the age of 94 according to her website.
While the actress might be best known for playing the wise-cracking Sally Rogers on The Dick Van Dyke Show, she was already a veteran by the time she did that sitcom. I recently learned she was a child star who started to wow audiences at the tender age of 4. People would fill theaters to hear Baby Rose Marie sing and they got their money’s worth.
Eventually she dropped the Baby from her name, but that did not stop her from singing and acting. Something she would do for the rest of her life.
Something that came later in life was documentary she made her about her life in show business. She promoted Wait For Your Life on Twitter, where she interacted with fans. Then just last month, that documentary became a reality and she did several Q&A’s at screenings of that film. Proving that she never stopped until today, the day she died.
Today, let’s honor the enormous talent that she is and watch the many highlights from her 90-year career. That is quite an accomplishment.
Before Rose Marie was a writer on a talk show on The Dick Van Dyke Show, she was a guest on Musical Chairs. What a phenomenal talent she was when she was 31 during that 1955 appearance.
