Back in late January, there were rumors that Antonio Banderas was hospitalized with chest pains. On January 30th, his rep confirmed the hospitalization, but said he was “released that same day after doctors performed a check-up which confirmed his good health.”
Yesterday at the Malaga Spanish Film Festival, he told the press he suffered a heart attack on January 26th. The cardiac episode did not cause any lasting damage, but he did say, “I underwent an operation where they implanted three stents in my coronary arteries, and since I had suffered from arrhythmia for quite some time, I underwent thermoablation, but it wasn’t as dramatic as they say.”
Thankfully, now the actor is on the mend and looking as healthy as ever.
The first trailer is out for Justice League and it is no Avengers. The Marvel movie was enjoyable and this one just looks like it is going to be all fight with no knock out. You know it is like how Michael Bay films have so many bombs in that that they become one.
Can someone explain to me why DC Comic movies are so dark? It is like watching a 3D movie with those dark glasses without actually wearing them. Even the daytime scenes are dark. Can you someone give them daylight and color. I also miss when their costumes had bright colors on them. Now they are all black and brown. Well The Flash’s costume is red, but it is more maroon than bright red.

Mindy Kaling’s show criticized Newark, NJ and the former Mayor defended his city. Cory Booker then Tweeted to her that he disagreed with that assessment and she Tweeted back, “Senator, if Mindy Lahiri shades it, it means we know it’s cool. Thanks for the ❤. It’s mutual!” As soon as he saw that ❤, he said to her, “You are making my day! Thanks for the clarification. And If the ❤️is really mutual… Come have dinner with me in Newark? #PleaseSayYes ” She did, and he offered to get her a Lyft to take her door to door.

Back in January, it was announced that Cher was going to star in a movie about the Flint water crisis for Lifetime and today she says that she has dropped out of the film.
She sent Deadline this statement about her sudden departure, “This has been a project so near and dear to my heart and I was truly looking forward to helping tell this story. Then she added, “Unfortunately, I will be unable to leave Los Angeles during the scheduled filming as I am dealing with a serious family issue that prevents me from going on location for the April filming. I’m so glad that Craig and Neil plan to move ahead and I know that this Lifetime movie will be done beautifully.”
We don’t know what that family emergency is and who it is that is preventing her from going to go to Toronto.
What is interesting, Cher has been performing several shows in Maryland this month, including last night and will do two more this weekend, and has yet to cancel any of those dates. She is also slated to return to Las Vegas in May for another residency and as of now those shows are still going on as planned. Which makes you wonder what is the true story? Is it just that she decided she didn’t want to do the movie after all?
I love Cher, but this is not helping her when it comes to the tabloid reports that she is on her deathbed. I mean, she isn’t because she has done several concerts this year and no one said said she looked like death. Therefore, I really want to know the true story is because inquiring minds want to know. On that note, I am sure the National Enquirer is already on it.
