The one when Friends met The Big Bang Theory
January 25th, 2016 under Chuck Lorre, Friends (cast). [ Comments: none ]

Several casts of past and current shows got together yesterday to celebrate James Burrows’ major milestone. The milestone the director hit, is that he has directed 1,000 episodes throughout his career including episodes from Taxi, Cheers, Will & Grace and Two and a Half Men. But two of his biggest shows on his resume are Friends and The Big Bang Theory and almost all of the leads from both top rated sitcoms were there to honor him. Well someone thought it would be a smart idea to have the casts of two of the biggest shows from the ’90s and today pose for a photo together and this is what we got. Instead of saying who was there, the photo would be better if Matthew Perry and Kunal Nayyar were standing alongside them, but still this is pretty cool.
Maybe we can get a TBBT episode where Penny (Kaley Cuoco) dreams she is on Friends and Burrows directs it. Wouldn’t that be a dream scenario?

Blame Elsa for the storm?
January 25th, 2016 under Frozen. [ Comments: none ]

It has been over 2 years since Frozen came out and little girls are slowly forgetting about the movie. Well, Elsa isn’t going to let that happen, so she caused a massive blizzard that left up to 4′ of snow along the East Coast?
Don’t believe she caused it? Look at this photo that Patrick Ledesma took and tell me who caused it?
I don’t know why they named the storm after the Jonas Brothers when it was another Disney star who is at fault.
So little girls, don’t let it go. Keep Elsa close to your heart or you will be Frozen.

The truth is out there, The X-Files is just as good as the original
January 24th, 2016 under X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

The X-Files is back on Fox tonight after the football game (around 10p), and the show still scores a touchdown nearly 14 years after it went off the air. I have seen the first three episodes of the six episode event, and there is something for all the fans of the show and for people who have never seen it.
Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) have gone their separate ways. He is still looking into controversies and she is back to being a doctor. Then when Tad O’Malley (Joel McHale), an online conspiracist, is taken seriously by many people, Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) gets the two of them together again. O’Malley takes the two of them to meet with someone they have met before and she is still being visited by the aliens. When Mulder doesn’t believe something about her story, what she reveals to him, when they are alone, changes everything. Now he believes her and truth is scarier than he thought.
Tomorrow night at 8p, they are back to investigating a strange occurrences. One that is more on the serious side of The X-Files, while next Monday’s episode is more on the fun side. I always preferred the latter type of episodes and I think next week’s show is close to perfection.
I know I am not saying much, but that is because I think fans need to experience this show as it happens and not have someone spoil it for them. So like I said at the top, there is a little something for everyone and because of that everyone will enjoy it.

Celebrities getting lost in the snow!

Celebrities wish they could be invisible at times, and the snow is a good way for that. In fact, no matter how old you get, playing in the white stuff is always fun to do. Especially, if you are not the one doing the shoveling. Case in point, Hugh Jackman was pelted with snowballs and lived to talk about it. Justin Theroux became a snow angel when he jumped backwards into the snow. And then there is Snooki, who thought she was back on the Jersey Shore as she dove face first into the snow. All of them had a blast, and were freezing their a$$es off. But it is all worth it because how often to do you have a record breaking snowfall?

UPDATE: Liv Tyler recorded her dad getting buried in the snow. Proving even if you are a grandfather, you can still be a kid! No matter how old Steven Tyler gets, he will always be a kid at heart!
