Some sites have Val Kilmer in failing health, but this photo of him with Will Forte and Jorma Taccone yesterday, proves that it is not true. In fact, the Real Genius looks happy and healthy here. And look, no tracheotomy tube as was seen in some paparazzi photos.
I don’t know about you, but it is nice to seem him looking like this and I hope that people will move on from the near-death stories. What do you think?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcqyZFUFw9Y Robert Jones had some time on his hands and I am so happy that he did. He took some dance scenes from many many many movies and made one epic music video of them boogieing to C+C Music Factory’s Gonna Make You Sweat.
Watching it might not make you sweat, but it will definitely make you smile! How can you not turn your frown upside down by watching this? It is pure happiness like almost all of those films like Center Stage, Hairspray, Grease, Beetlejuiice, Flashdance and The Blues Brothers to name a few of the ones that were included!
Although two movies that are missing from it are Rent and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Lucifer might be the devil, but the show that debuts on Fox at 9p tonight after The X-Files is just heavenly.
Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is bored as hell of Hell, so he decides to take a vacation in Los Angeles, which is like a Hell away from Hell. Heaven wants him back in Hell, but he doesn’t want to go. The angel Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside) and Lucifer’s confidant, Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt), will do everything in their power to get him to go back home.
Then when one of the people (AnnaLynne McCord), he did a “favor” for, is shot and killed in his arms, he vows to find her killer. Only thing, is the police are also looking for the murderer and Homicide Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) is the lead investigator on this case. Lucifer and Chloe’s paths keep crossing and for some reason she is not a prisoner of his charms. This intrigues him and makes them good partners as they solve crimes together each week. Who knew the Devil, was so good as solving crimes?
Actually the Devil isn’t only good at solving crimes, the show is so bloody good. Tom Ellis is so perfect at the playing the charming Lucifer, you will be under his spell before the opening credits start to roll.
Tune in for a procedural that is so devilishly bad, it is heavenly.
Tonight at 9p, get ready for your latest TV addiction, Recovery Road on Freeform.
Maddie (Jessica Sula) seems to be your normal teenager, but she has a problem. She drinks a lot and has been doing drugs. One night, she wakes up on a strange lawn and she has no idea where her car is. You would think that she realized she hit rock bottom, but she doesn’t. It is not until her guidance counselor (Alexis Carra) confronts her mother (Sharon Leal) and her, and tells Maddie that she either has to get treatment or she will get expelled. With those options she decides to go to a sober living facility for 90 days.
When she is there she meets the other residents who are there for different reasons and are at different stages of their recovery. Some of them are repeat offenders and others are there for the first time. Each one of them, like Maddie, doesn’t think belonged there but now they know they do belong where they are at. Will Maddie accept that she has a problem before it is too late?
Those residents are her roommate (Kyla Pratt), who did so much meth she lost her daughter. Trish only wants her baby girl back, and she thinks if she does a reality show it will help. Wes (Sebastian De Souza) is the good looking bad boy, and he has taken a vow not to date anyone until he is sober for a year. Vern (Daniel Franzese) had a problem with cocaine and since he has gotten off of it, he has put on weight. Then there is Rebecca (Lindsay Pearce), Maddie’s former best friend and the girls don’t want anything to do with each other. Those are other residents and Craig (David Witts) is the one trying to keep them all sober which is easier said than done.
Recovery Road is an honest look at surviving addiction which is a lot harder than anyone thinks.
Yesterday was Sunday and more people were praying for their football teams than they were to Gd. Well, Jay Mohr and his wife, Nikki Cox, wanted to remind you that isn’t only about the pig skin, “With all this @NFL #NEvsDEN and #AZvsCAR let’s not forget it’s the Lord’s day.” Do you think they got the message across?
