Before Robert De Niro was a Taxi Driver, he was driving a brand new AMC Ambassador. He looks the same now as he did when he was 25 in that 1969 ad.

Is North West truly a Kardashian?
September 16th, 2015 under The Kardashians. [ Comments: 5 ]

Kim Kardashian posted a photo of her daughter holding a camera, but North West wasn’t holding it towards herself. Instead she was holding it like the paparazzi. Doesn’t she know she is a Kardashian and she is only supposed to take photos of herself and not anyone else? Maybe there is hope for her?

Moonbeam City will Dazzle you!
September 16th, 2015 under Comedy Central. [ Comments: none ]

Patrick Nagel’s art comes to life in the animated ’80s police procedural comedy Moonbeam City on Comedy Central tonight at 10:30p, and it is anything but criminal.
Moonbeam City is safe city, mostly because of Dazzle Novak (Rob Lowe). He is one of their lead detectives who miraculously is able to solve crime. He is a bumbling, self-involved idiot, but things just seem to go his way in spite of himself. His arch nemesis is Rad Cunningham (Will Forte) and he will do anything to knock Dazzle down a few notches. As hard as he tries, it doesn’t work. Pizzaz Miller (Elizabeth Banks), is the tough chief, who has her work cut out for her with these two. Because of that she gives Dazzle an assistant, Chrysalis Tate (Kate Mara), to help him out and keep him under control. That doesn’t happen.
Each week they will try to keep Moonbeam City safe, which is hard to do because their antics make it dangerous.
Since I have been a fan of Nagel’s art since I was kid, I loved the show at first sight. Then as I watched the first three episodes, I loved it even more because it is so out there and naughty. Plus, there are so many brilliant lines throughout the episodes, you can’t help but to laugh uncontrollably. You will hear things come out of Lowe and Forte’s mouths, you never thought you would hear them say. In fact, even though you don’t see the actors, you can hear how much fun they are having with this outrageous show. And if they are enjoying it, then believe me, you are going to enjoy it just as much as them and me.
Wait until you see next week’s episode with a nice little tribute to Toto! Since Nagel’s art is a sign of the ’80s, the show is full of a lot of throwback references to the Me decade.

Ben Stiller or Ric Ocasek?
September 16th, 2015 under Ben Stiller, Frat Pack, RIc Ocasek. [ Comments: none ]

You might think I’m crazy, but I think that Ben Stiller look more like Ric Ocasek than Hansel. Don’t you think he looks more like singer of The Cars who married a Supermodel than the Supermodel he plays Zoolander. It could just be the jet black spiky hair and dark glasses that are throwing me for the loop. So think about it as you wonder who’s gonna drive you home tonight?
Not familiar with The Cars and Ric Ocaseck, watch their music video that won the first MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year. Now I am wondering Ocasek was Stiller’s inspiration for Zoolander?
