One of the things that stinks about being a reporter, is that you have to report from the elements. KSNT‘s Katya Leick was reporting from Fort Riley when a bunch of cicadas decided they wanted their moment in the spotlight. They kept hugging the camera like a bunch of drunk guys after their team wins, and both are just as annoying to a reporter. Although, for Leick the buggers were more of fright, than a nuisance. Especially, when one of them landed on her face.
So watch her scream over and over in fear as they attack her. You’d think she would’ve felt safe doing her standup from a tank, but nope. What makes if ever funnier is that there are a bunch of army men nearby, who are supposed to serve and protect, and they did none of that as she screeched each time one came within her airspace. Good thing they didn’t give her rifle as a prop because I am sure she would’ve tried to shoot them all down and instead she would’ve hit everything else but them.
As someone who is afraid of bugs too, I totally understand her reaction.
We have seen a lot things on reality TV like couples having sex in a box or slicing off part of their fingers, but I don’t ever remember seeing anyone have such issues taking a poop that they needed a medic to assist. On Monday night, that is exactly what happens when Trey Williams feels like something isn’t coming out from down there and he is in so much pain because of it on NBC’s The Island.
Trey goes somewhere remote on The Island to do his business, but the pain is so intense that he screams in agony. Some of the others contestants hear him wailing and they ask for the doctor to help him out. Armed only with a pair of gloves, Dr Buck Parker goes in to save the day. What he discovers in there is bark, coconut shells and bark. When all is said and done, Trey is suffering from an anal fissure. Even though everything above it is now clear, the pain might be too much for him to continue. Will he stay? We will just have to tune in, but I am not sure we want to.
Some things are better left to the unknown on reality TV and that is on the top of the list!
Since I can’t go without making a joke (sorry Trey), we know reality show stars can be a pain in the a$$, but here is a contestant who really has a pain in the a$$. Folks, I will be here all week.
We know that The Rock is a very strong man, but did you know he is strong enough to pull an airplane all by himself and make it look like it is no big deal. Well he did it almost all by himself because he needed the help of a 2 year old girl to really get it done. Actually as he explained, “When beautiful little 2yr old Kai visits our set and she wants to ‘pull the airplane’ all by herself. Well, she gets to pull the airplane… all by herself.”
How sweet is that video? Don’t you just love it? You know, how they say that love hurts? Well DJ pulled his hamstring making that awwwdorable toddler happy. Don’t you just adore even more now, knowing that?
I sincerely think that Dwayne Johnson is one of the nicest guys in Hollywood and deserves all of his riches. At least he does good with money and yet he still remains humble. How many guys, who can tow a plane with the bare hands, can say that?
