The Last Man on Earth is a Will Fortetude of fun!
March 1st, 2015 under Fox, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

What if there was a virus that took out the whole world’s population and you were The Last Man on Earth? If you are Phil Miller (Will Forte) you make the best of it starting at 9p on Fox tonight!
It is the year 2020 and every breathing thing has been wiped out by a virus, except for one man. For the last two years, he has traveled across the United States of America looking for any other signs of life to no avail. Finally, he returns to his hometown of Tuscon, Az and settles into the nicest and biggest house he can find. He decorates it with some of the items he picked up on tour of the US, like the Presidential seal from the White House, priceless paintings, Oscars and Hugh Hefner’s PJs. At first he is OK with being alone, but as time goes on he gets lonely. How many stores can you ransack? How many cars can you destroy? How many days can you walk around in your underwear without anyone caring before it becomes too much to handle?
He eventually makes himself some friends out of sports balls, but soon they are not enough for him. After his wishing and hoping doesn’t grant him another human being, preferably a woman, he decides to end it all.
Will there be no people left on Earth? Will he finally get his wish?
We will have to tune into this witty comedy that makes the apocalypse fun(ny).
When I first heard about The Last Man on Earth, I thought it was going to totally suck. I was completely surprised by how much I truly enjoy it. Forte is the perfect man to be the only survivor because he is your every day man. If a NASA Scientist or a politician were the only survivors, then this show would not be worth wasting your time. But a 41 year old former temp who never grew up makes this comedy a must watch every Sunday, starting next week at 9:30p and tonight at 9p.

Parents around the world can relate this mom who’s sick of Frozen!
March 1st, 2015 under Awesome Videos. [ Comments: none ]

If you have a young child, then chances are you beyond sick of Frozen. So what if your child is home from school because of a snow day? There is nothing for them to do, but to watch the movie over and over and over and over and over again. If you are Odessa Waters, then you will have the same reaction that she has. I don’t have kids, but I feel the same whenever I buy something Frozen for my adopted niece, who like almost every girl of her age, is obsessed with the movie.
I can’t wait until all of these little girls Let It Go.

It would be a crime to miss Battle Creek!
March 1st, 2015 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

What do you get when the creators of House and Breaking Bad decide to do a show together? You get a buddy cop show that everyone can enjoy.
I am not into most police procedurals, but there is something about Battle Creek that works. It could be Josh Duhamel’s good looks, which is mentioned in almost all of the episodes I’ve watched, or it could be because the show that debuts on CBS tonight at 10p is as equally smart as it is funny.
Det Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) works at Battle Creek, Michigan Police Department and to say they are underfunded would be an understatement. They don’t have any cameras, their batteries last as long as a gun shot and their stun guns fizzle out before you can even say stun. He desperately wants to be a good cop, but everything is against him and that makes him a grumpy cynic. He begs and pleads for help and that request goes on deaf ears. That is until an FBI agent from Detroit is transferred to offices across from his. That agent is Milt Chamberlain (Duhamel) and everything goes his way. He is a happy, go-lucky, beyond attractive man that gets everything he wants. Russ hates him, but yet these two men, who are complete opposites, make a great cop team when it comes to solving crimes.
Each week, they solve crimes in a way only they can. The best part about this show, is unlike the other ones it is not predictable.
So tune into Breaking House PD, I mean Battle Creek, tonight and every Sunday at 10p. I promise you will find it as arresting as I do.
