It has been a little over a month since we lost the great Robin Williams and his best friend, Billy Crystal, talked about him on The Tonight Show yesterday. He shared with Jimmy Fallon that they used to stay up late at nigth talking on the phone working on their comedy, and it was exhausting. Then he shared a story about the time that Michael Dukakis said that Mork was from Uranus and all hell broke loose in Robin’s magnificent mind. I mean, can you imagine saying that planet, out of all of them, to someone who as genius as Robin Williams. What was he thinking? Obviously he wasn’t.
I just love hearing Crystal talking about his true gem of a friend, that I wanted to make sure you heard it too.
Jennifer Lopez released the music video for her song Booty today. If these doesn’t scream desperation, I don’t know what does. It starts out with Iggy Azalea and her butt humping and it just gets sadder from there. At one point in the video, she does a Miley and Twerks for cameras. And that is so like last year.
This is the type of video that a singer releases at the beginning of her career in order to draw attention to herself. When someone does it at this stage of her game, it is just sad.
And I love what a good role model the American Idol judge is to the contestants of the show. Not only the video, but teaching them that it’s OK to autotune. Which seems to be against everything that the Fox show is searching for. But that is just my 2 cents and she’s the reason why I stopped watching the show.
What do you think of J-Lo’s Booty?
Before Liam Neeson was the bravest guy on the big screen, he was afraid of freezing cold ocean water for BBC Belfast. How absolutely awwwdorable was the 25 year old in that in 1978 video about the history of Trains in Northern Ireland?
If you need more of his cuteness, here he is on The Tonight Show yesterday when Jimmy Fallon shared that gold nugget with us Yanks! I don’t know what he’s embarrassed about, I think he is fantastic in it.

Yesterday we fell in love with Red Band Society, and a big part of that admiration is because of how Charlie Rowe plays his loveable character. Leo is fighting cancer and he’s taking Chemo to beat it. As we know if you get chemotherapy, there is a good chance you are going to lose your hair. Leo is one of those people who has gone bald because of it. That means Rowe had to do the same, and Fox just released this video of the big day. We have seen actresses like Shailene Woodley and Karen Gillan get very nervous as they cut off their long locks for movies, and it’s nice to see male actors feel the same way about going under the razor.
I don’t know what surprised me more about this video, how cute Rowe is with hair (don’t get me wrong he still looks good bald) or that he’s English? What surprised you more?
