Doh! Homer Simpson accepts the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! |

We’ve seen humans do it, we’ve seen Kermit do it, we’ve seen Cookie Monster do it and now we are seeing Homer Simpson do it. Do what? The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and it was the most animated one of them all. Also the most painful one of them all. But then again it is The Simpsons would you expect any less?
That is why we have loved them for over a quarter of a century and counting!
Our favorite yellow family will be back on Fox September 28th. Don’t forget that FXX is in the middle of airing an every one of their episodes marathon. In case you missed that episode from season 16 or rewatch your favorite one from season 23.

Before Allison Janney worked for the White House on West Wing, she worked for the NYPD in The Cowboy Way. She looks the same now as she did when she was 34 in that 1994 movie.

Today is National Doggy Day and David Letterman celebrated it a day early on The Late Show. He had three dogs show us that they can jump further than you can by jump diving into a pool. The first pup leaped over 25′ while the other two flew over 30′ each. And I am happy if I don’t hit the side of the pool when I jump in.

It has been 25 years since Woody Harrelson has won an Emmy, so I am sure he was really looking forward to winning another one yesterday. Woody was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama along with his True Detective co-star and BFF, Matthew McConaughey, but both me lost out to Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston. I guess the loss was too much for the Oscar winner because he was seen with his head down and his hands over his eyes by the silhouette of the Emmy statue. A photo he emailed to his friends like the Farrelly Brothers. Maybe if he watched one of their movies like Dumb and Dumber or The Three Stooges, it would make him feel better.
At least he can try for the Emmy again next year for the second season of the HBO show. Oh wait, he’s not coming back to the show. Poor Woody Harrelson.
This is the second saddest picture from last night. The saddest one was any picture that Lena Dunham’s dress was seen in, but those photos are different kind sad.

Grumpy Cat is filming his first movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever for Lifetime and three of his costars accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Daniel Roebuck, Evan Todd and Isaac Haig all dumped the freezing cold water on their heads in front of him. Was it enough to turn the kitty’s frown upside down? Nope, it wasn’t. But it was enough to make him look at those hairless things who walk on two legs like they were crazy. Which they are.
BTW could you imagine if Grumpy took the challenge? There would be blood, lots and lots of blood.
