Sean Hayes knows how to make an entrance!
October 1st, 2013 under David Letterman, Sean Hayes. [ Comments: none ]

Sean Hayes was on The Late Show yesterday and boy does he know how to make an entrance. While most people just walk on to the stage normally to greet Davide Letterman, Hayes was leaps and bounds ahead of them. He entered from the balcony and jumped down to the main floor. His entrance was so grand that it will knock your hat off. Well at least it knocked that one guy’s cap off!
BTW if you think that was spectacular, then wait until you see his new sitcom Sean Saves the World this Thursday at 9p on NBC. I can’t stop praising this comedy and I am sure you will feel the same way.

Crap-mas came early because The Neighbors season 1 is out on DVD!
September 30th, 2013 under The Neighbors. [ Comments: none ]

Last year The Neighbors crashed down on our TV and we got a sitcom that everyone in the family could enjoy together. And now you can enjoy it whenever you want with The Neighbors: The Complete First Season DVD box set!
The Weavers thought they moved into their dream house in the Hidden Hills gated community. That is until they found out that their Neighbors are out of this world. As in they from the planet Zabvron. Now Marty (Lenny Venito) and Debbie Weaver (Jami Gertz) are teaching them about our Earthling ways. Each week Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) and Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) learn something new about us like our holidays, school, sex and death. And each week we get a well-written show that makes us laugh with positive messaging.
What I love most about The Neighbors is how smartly it is written. There are little cute things that you need to look out for in each episode that will put a smile on your face. It is the perfect amount of comedy that a family can watch as a family.
I know some people were turned off from the show because of the alien concept. Well they missed on last season’s best new show. Some people found out about it halfway through season one and they missed a few of the great episodes like when they went to mall for the first time or experienced Halloween-ween. There are the people who never saw a single and missed out on the whole season. And then there are people like me who have almost every episode saved on their DVR.
Well now you can season 1 of The Neighbors on DVD and see what you missed out on. Or watch it all over again, whenever you want. Because so many of these episode are meant to be enjoyed over and over again.
Not only do you get every episode from season 1, you get deleted scenes and a gag reel. The best part about the bloopers is seeing the kids mess up, Max Charles (Max), Isabella Cramp (Abby) Clara Mamet (Amber) Ian Patrick (Dick Butkus) and Tim Jo (Reggie Jackson) are so cute when they mess up. But the cutest one of them all is Jami Gertz, who does this precious little thing whenever she flubs up.
So run out and buy season 1 of The Neighbors now before they beam us up. They don’t do that on the show, so don’t worry. Although The Neighbors did being a Trekkie and someone from Star Wars together for the first time on the small screen.

BTWF roles: Tony Shalhoub on The Equalizer
September 30th, 2013 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before Tony Shalhoub was a private detective on Monk, he was a terrorist on The Equalizer. He looks the same now as he did when he was 32 in that 1986 episode.

Chris Smith is a Hollywood newbie and he has some advice for people who want to get into biz. The We Are Men star’s Words of Wizdumb are simple, don’t wear underwear.
You know what it works for Jon Hamm and Chris Smith, it can work for you. And if you are built like Jerry O’Connell, then don’t wear them proudly!
