I don’t know about you, but I never realized how many near miss kisses there were on the big screen. That is until Alex Moschina, put a bunch of them together in one YouTube video. What is up with that? How can we make it stop because there is nothing better than the romantic kiss between two people on a 50 foot screen and there should be nothing and no one who should be able to make that moment not happen!
Matt LeBlanc was a guest on The Tonight Show yesterday and everything was copacetic between Jay Leno and the Friend during the interview. But turns out that isn’t how the two acted towards each other when the NBC late night host appeared on LeBlanc’s Showtime show Episodes. It’s a side of Leno we have never seen and I like him better that way.
CBS has the strongest new shows for the fall with The Crazy Ones, We Are Men and Hostages and yet they released the dumbest promo I have ever seen from a network. The ad is titled Meet the CBS Eye Guy and a person is walking around with the CBS eye logo and in black tights.
Now even though they tell us that we are going to meet him, he never says anything so how did we meet him?
CBS needs to stick with those CBS Cares commercials for prostate exams and such. And as we know those ads are very embarrassing for them, and even they are better than this one.
Back in March, it was revealed that Valerie Harper had terminal brain cancer and she was only given 3-6 months to live. Well this morning on Today, it was revealed that she is pretty close to a remission.
Since the diagnosis, she has undergone chemotherapy, acupuncture and drank Chinese teas in hope that it would slow the progression of the cancer. Well in June she found out that it did and her doctor said she is “pretty close to a remission” after he looked at her MRI.
While the news is great, there is no cure for her type of cancer. Sadly it can come back, but for now we focus on the positive and get ready to enjoy her on Hot in Cleveland this Wednesday on TV Land and Dancing with the Stars on ABC in September.
On September 19th you can hear more about Valerie Harper’s miraculous recovery in the hour long NBC special Valerie’s Story with Meredith Viera. Her story should be an inspiration to all of us, so I highly recommend watching this special.
