Snoop Dogg is returning to One Life to Live on May 28th for the first time since he changed him name to Snoop Lion and what can I say after watching that preview. Well I could say that I am pretty sure he sent the cast and crew a little present from his green house before his appearance. I mean how else could you explain what they wrote for him for that scene And was Hillary B. Smith experiencing a contact high when she was standing next to him because she was laughing like someone who smoked some of the good shiznit! And I am sure him back on the soap opera next week will totally be the shiznit!
Stephen King did an interview with Parade magazine to promote his new book Joyland and they asked him what shows he is currently watching on TV. He told them “Justified, Bates Motel, The Walking Dead. The best show of the year is The Americans. I don’t watch Mad Men. I think it’s basically soap opera, and if I want soap opera, I watch Revenge. That show is crazy, but they have great clothes.†I get Bates Motel and The Walking Dead, but Revenge that I just don’t get. When I think of the greatest horror author of all time watching TV, I don’t picture him watching a show about a woman getting revenge on the people in The Hamptons, who got her father sent to jail for a crime he didn’t commit. I just don’t.
The mind of Stephen King never ceases to amaze me. And on his brilliant mind, am I the only one who can’t wait until June 24th at 10p to see Under the Dome on CBS.
Save Me makes its heavenly debut tonight at 8p on NBC and you want to be saved by this show.
Beth (Anne Heche) is an unhappily married mom who used to be a weekend weather girl, but now stays home and drinks her troubles away. Troubles like her husband, Tom (Michael Landes), is cheating on her and her teenage daughter, Emily (Madison Davenport), hates her. Actually to be real everyone hates her.
One night after partying a little too much, she chokes on a sandwich and dies. At least for a little while because when she wakes up something is different about her. She decides that now that she has a second chance at life, she is going to take advantage of it. What she doesn’t realize is her resurrection was a gift from above and now that higher power is communicating messages to her about the people in her life.
Now she is trying to start over which is going to be hard to do since she is kind of a prophet. What will she do with this new power? Will people think she is nuts? Will she get her family back? I guess we will have to watch every Thursday at 8p and 8:30p to find out in this shockingly funny comedy.
I wasn’t expecting to like Save Me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is something refreshing about it and because of that we have something fun to enjoy in the summertime.
Woody Harrelson was a guest on The Late Show yesterday and he demonstrated a pretty freakin’ great talent that he has. He gave David Letterman a book and told him to open to a certain page. Then he instructed him to pick a word at the top of that page. Once Letterman had the word locked, Woody told him to close the page and picture the it. This is where it gets really good, Woody then had to guess what the word Letterman had commissioned into his memory was. Letter by letter Woody spelled the word out, but was it the word the CBS host picked? You will just have to watch because what he is does will leave you amazed.
Morgan Freeman was doing a satellite interview with Q13 in Seattle early in the morning yesterday to promote his movie Now You See Me and it looks like it might’ve been too early for him. Because while his co-star Michael Caine was talking with the anchors, Freeman closed his eyes and it even appears that he took a power nap. When the interview concluded the actors mic was still on and you can here Caine say “Is that the last one?” Hopefully it was because it looks like Morgan can use the time off to take a real nap.
