Before Evan Peters’ lovers were kidnapped by aliens on American Horror Story: Asylum, his mom was taken over by one on Invasion. How cute was the 18 year old in that 2005 episode.
Tonight at 8:30p on ABC’s The Neighbors the awwwdorable Abby Weaver (Isabella Cramp) brings the first sickness into the Hidden Hills community and Larry Bird (Simon Templeman) has a plan of action how to handle it. He wants to quarantine The Weaver household like you do when you are trying to get rid of termites, but Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) likes how Debbie Weaver (Jami Gertz) is nurturing her daughter and wants to do the same. But since Larry Bird is so afraid of the common cold, he won’t let any of the aliens get near any of the Weavers. So Debbie is stuck taking care of her whole family all by herself when they get sick. Will the Zabvronians listen to their leader or will they listen to their hearts? You have to tune in for an episode that has such a sweet moment, it actually brought a tear to my eye.
Seriously if you not watching The Neighbors, you are missing out on fall’s most enjoyable show, so watch it tonight and every Wednesday at 8:30p on ABC.
Guys with Kids stars Tempestt Bledsoe aka Vanessa from The Cosby Show and in an upcoming episode her character is getting a younger sister. The role is described as “her fun and irresponsible baby sister who comes to town for a few days on the heels of a bad break up.” So who did the show cast to play that part? Naturally her younger TV sister for 8 years, Keshia Knight Pulliam. No word yet when that episode will air, and I know I am not the only who is excited to see their reunion when it happens. So I guess you will have to watch the NBC sitcom every Wednesday at 8:30p until it does.
Conrad Bain passed away last night from natural causes at the age of 89 according to TMZ. The actor is best known for playing the conservative Dr Arthur Harmon on Maude in the ’70s and then going right into playing the wealthy Mr Drummond on Diff’rent Strokes. It is a sad day in the sitcom world to lose someone as talented to him. So today honor him by watching one of his two shows on Antenna TV, 2 eps of Maude at 7p/4p and 4 eps of Diff’rent Strokes at 9p/6p to keep the joy he brought alive.
UPDATE: Antenna TV will be paying tribute to Conrad Bain this Saturday. The network will air Maude from 1-4p est/10a-1p pst and Diff’rent Strokes from 4-8p est/1-4p pst. So make sure to watch the shows that made us love him and he loved working on.
Tonight at 10p it is the second to last episode of American Horror Story: Asylum on FX and the show speeds us through the late ’60s. The episode starts off with us finding out what happens to Kit Walker, Grace and their son, now that Alma has been returned by the aliens with his other child. Then we skip ahead to Lana Winters, the famous author, and what she is doing with her new life. Has she kept her promises? Finally we find out that Sister Jude is alive, but what shape she is in?
By the time we reach 1970 at least one more person from Briarcliff will not be alive to experience the ’70s.
Finally the episode concludes with what Johnny Thredson’s plan is in present day, and with that we are ready for the season finale. What happens then, we will have to wait a week to find out. And I so can’t wait to see how it all ends for the Asylum… But before we get to that point, we have to find out what happens in the late ’60s to the people of Briarcliff tonight on FX at 10p.
