Katie Holmes’ Broadway career is making like her movie one and tanking. The actress is starring in Dead Accounts on Broadway and it is closing 7 weeks earlier than expected. The show was supposed to close on February 24th but now it will end next Sunday instead according to Playbill.
Poor Katie Holmes just can’t catch a break, well besides that lucky one she got over the summer.
David Letterman was honored by the Kennedy Center Honors and Jimmy Kimmel honored him. The ABC late night host said that when he was 15 he watched Letterman’s show for the first time and he was instantly in love. He was so in to Letterman that he had a cake with his image on it for his Sweet 16, a Late Night vanity plate for his first car, drew pictures of the gap toothed face on his school books and even started a HS club dedicated to the show. Then he said, “To me it wasn’t just a TV show, it was the reason I would fail to make love to a live woman for many many years.”
So now that Kimmel is doing what his idol Letterman was doing, I wonder how many women he has been doing because of that?
Two months and a day after NBC aired the very expensive pilot for Mockingbird Lane, the network has finally made a decision on the show’s future. Show creator Bryan Fuller Tweeted, “I tweet with a heavy heart. NBC not moving forward with #MockingbirdLane. From producers and cast, thank you all for enthusiasm and support.”
I have no problem with this because I am loyal to the original show and didn’t like the reboot. It just so far away from the original concept that I couldn’t get into it.
Before David Spade was doing stand up on TV, he was doing it on ALF. He is funny now as he was during his first LA job back when was 25 years old in that 1990 episode.
