Before Mark Harmon was on NCIS a show that scored a touchdown every week, he was playing football for UCLA. What an amazing arm the 21 year old back in 1972.
Daniel Tosh is pretty animated on Tosh.0, so it makes sense his next project on the network would be an animated one. Tonight at 10:30p Brickleberry debuts on Comedy Central and this show does things that no cartoon has ever done before. I thought that Drawn together pushed the envelope, but it ain’t got nothing on this one. I mean the show starts off with animals f*cking in all different type of positions and just continues to go there from that point on.
So what is this show about besides doing things that no cartoon thought it could do. Brickleberry National Forrest is run by the most dysfunctional rangers in the world. If they don’t straighten up their acts, they will all be looking for new jobs. So they bring in one of the best rangers from Yellowstone Park and the Ranger of the Month for like ever is afraid she will steal his title away from him. So he does whatever he can to stop here and there will be blood, lots and lots of blood. Did I mention that they actually talk about periods on the show. Yeah it goes there. I seriously can’t even describe how wrong this show is, but I will tell you it is freaking funny as all heck.
Plus there is a talking bear, and that has to make you want to watch it. Unless I tell you he is raped by a redneck and that might make you change your mind. If it does, then I am lying. But I am not lying when I tell you, I really love this show.
Maybe the Mayans were on to something because the National Pig Association expects there to be a bacon shortage in 2013. Due to drought like conditions around the world, the cost to feed pigs has become so high that farmers are opting to slaughter them now instead of keeping them alive for a few months and sell their meat for money then. Because of that the National Pig Association is predicting a worldwide shortage of pork related products next year.
So start stocking up now because everything that you enjoy with bacon and ham might not be around as much in a few months. We will have to learn to enjoy Turkey and Tofu bacon instead and we all know that it is just not the same thing.
Somewhere Miss Piggy, Porky Pig, Babe and Wilbur are all hiding out and praying that no one finds them and turns them into breakfast. Because desperate times, call for desperate measures and we will eat any pig we can get our hands on including Kevin Bacon.

A squirrel some how got into a man’s apartment and went on a rampage in the kitchen looking for a way out. Once he realized there was an open window, he jumped out of it. Only problem is the guy lives 4 floors up. Somehow the rodent survived the jumped and ran away like nothing happened. Have to admit I am very impressed by the little guy.
The Avengers is out now in a Blu-ray Combo Pack and you are going to want to own this year’s biggest movie so you can watch it whenever you want!
I can review the movie that everyone enjoyed, but because everyone has seen it why bother.
What I can tell you, is that owning this Blu-ray Combo Pack is even more special because of all of the special features:
Audio Commentary by Director Joss Whedon
Featurette: Assembling the Ultimate Team
Featurette: A Visual Journey Eight Deleted scenes
Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 (short film)
Second screen
Gag reel
Soundgarden music video – “Live to Riseâ€
The Featurette that explains how everyone met and worked together on the blockbuster is really cool because it gives you an inside look what it was like on work on the film. Then the next featurette tells how they came up with the sets for the movie and what was the inspiration for the Shield Helicarrier. They really put a lot of thought in it as we all saw when watching the movie.
On a SHEILD note, we get to see a little teaser of what could be Item 47. It is a fun short that stars Jesse Bradford and Lizzy Caplan. The deleted scenes help us learn more about Maria Hill, who wasn’t seen enough in the movie. We also get more of a back story for Captain America and that helps set him in The Avengers even more. Finally who doesn’t love a good gag reel, especially one that includes Robert Downey Jr.
So what more can I tell you to own the must have Blu-ray of the year? Nothing, so go order it already!
