Raise a glass and down the shot because TBS has renewed Sullivan & Son for a second season. The sitcom about a NYC lawyer who moves back to Pittsburgh to help his dad run their neighborhood bar will be back in 2013 to the jokes that other comedies are afraid to tell.
The thing I like about it most about the show that stars Steve Byrne is that it is funny without being mean. Plus it is the type of bar you can see yourself going to when you are over the whole trendy bar scene with people you can see hanging out with you. They won’t be like them, but they will look like them!
If you have never seen Sullivan & Son (the show that puts the Very Funny TBS Very Funny) then you can watch it Thursdays at 10p.
Before Clint Eastwood was Dirty Harry, he had a dirty job in Revenge of the Creature. He has the same hair now as he did when he was 24 in that 1955 movie.
BTW who knew that Clint Eastwood actually was freaking doable at one time in his life?
The new trailer is out for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunter and it is no Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I have to admit when I saw the title of the movie I got excited because I thought it could be fun way to imagine what could have happened to classic children’s tale when the Hansel and Gretel grew up. But after watching the trailer, it looks like the film is going to take itself seriously. What made the Abraham Lincoln movie so much fun is that it was in on the joke. This movie appears not to be and because of that I think it will disappoint. But maybe they will screw up to the point that it will be more comedic than action?
Oh wait just read that Will Ferrell produced this movie, it is going to be so bad that it won’t even be laughable. Bummer.
The CW released the first trailer for The Vampire Diaries’ fourth season and you better be sitting down when you watch it. To say it will take your breath away would be an understatement. And what makes this video ever harder to swallow is that the show won’t be back until October 11th. That means we have over a month to find out what the hell just happened in that promo!
We all know that Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee Roth in Van Halen, but imagine him doing the same for Aerosmith. Well according to what Brad Whitford told The Metal Show that was almost the case. When Steven Tyler took a break from the band to do American Idol, they were thinking of going on tour with a new name and new singer. The person on top of their list was the man who can’t drive 55, so they called him and asked if he was interested. The man who makes a lethal Tequilla thought it would be “so cool”, but sadly or luckily that never happened.
I don’t know how I feel about this because I have seen Hagar with Van Halen and I wasn’t that impressed. I like him when he does his own stuff, but I am not a fan of him doing someone elses. Plus no one could replace Steven Tyler, he is a one of a kind who can’t be replicated.
