As we all know Brett Ratner was suppose to direct the Oscars and Eddie Murphy was going to host. Then Ratner said some stupid stuff, dropped out and Murphy followed him. Then Brian Grazer got the job and brought back Billy Crystal to do what he does best and I thought the telecast would be enjoayble again. Something it hasn’t been since Hugh Jackman ran the night. Well now I know that Academy Awards will sincerely be good again because AMPAS released a trailer for the show and it is f*cking brilliant. If they are doing this as a preview, imagine what the big event will be like on February 26th? Welcome Billy Crystal, we missed you!
Now if only we can have movies nominated that anyone besides the voters and reviewers saw, then I would think the Oscars would be perfect. Just like it must’ve felt for Megan Fox to finally have her only chance to work with Robin Williams.
Before Stepfanie Kramer was a witch on The Secret Circle, she needed a spell to protect her in Hardy Boys. She looks the same now as she did when she was 22 in that 1978 episode.
Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the guests on the special Out of Character with Krista Smith on USA the 11th at 11p and in it she reveals something we don’t know about her. When she was asked what would surprise us about her, she responded with “Not sure…that I am very into S&M. Just kidding. I think I’m kinda what I seem. I probably do have a dirtier sense of humor than most people would think. It comes from my dad. It was fun to shock my mother.†So if she is what she seems, then what we have all thought about her is dead on. When it comes to the S&M mention, there is always truth with joking so I guess we know what that means…
The GOOP lady isn’t the only person on the show, Seth MacFarlane is also being interviewed on the special. When he was asked if his flagship show Family Guy ever went too far, he gave an example from early on. He said, “There have been jokes that I would have rather we not have done. The JFK Pez Dispenser [wound in his head] was something I would probably not do now.” No, but now he will make fun of 9/11 and spousal abuse to name a few of the sickening jokes the show has made this season. It is almost like the Fox show is begging to be cancelled and for the first time I wouldn’t fight their decision.
Starting at 8P The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle are back on The CW and they are so good they will take your breath away.
At first I thought that tonight’s episode of The Vampire Diaries was all about a new tough Jeremy, but something that happens as the end will have you gasping for air.
Once you think that your respiration is back, you will start to lose your breath again due to a powerful episode of The Secret Circle. Charles’ mother (Stepfanie Kramer) is back in town and she is such a tough witch that she is the reason why we say the b word rhymes with witch. She can sense who is using their magic and how they are using it, and she knows that her son and Dawn have been up to no good. She also knows about Cassie’s Dark Magic lineage and does something that will change everything. What happens will once again having you gasping for air.
Britt Robertson is spellbinding in this episode as we see her struggling with her dark and light sides. Kramer is a nice addition to the show and I hope she is staying around for a while. Especially since her presence finally helps her son Charles (Gale Harold) grow his much needed pair.
I wish I could tell you more about both episodes, but I was told if I did a bad spell would be put on me. So you will have to tune in to find out more and remeber to breath!
