First we have seen pictures of Adam Sandler and David Spade in drag for the movie Jack and Jill and now we are seeing Al Pacino in that get up. I have to wonder if the movie is a comedy or a horror movie because just looking at all these pictures from the set, I am already having nightmares.
Steve Harvey was hosting Family Feud and he asked “Name a celebrity whose wife or girlfriend seems way out of his league?” The contestant responded with “Matthew McConaughey” and Harvey was like the “little boy from Home Alone?” I am sure when the show ended and his staff showed him a picture of the actors side-by-side, and when he realized how the two look nothing alike he found out what a big mistake he made.
Before David Spade was dressing up in a dress for Jack and Jill, he was dressing up as a doctor in The Facts of Life. How cute is the 23 year old actor in that 1988 episode?
It was bad enough today when I read that Will Smith wants his daughter Willow to star in Annie, but Deadline made it worst by reporting that Clinton Eastwood wants to direct Beyonce in A Star is Born. The married Single Lady can sing, but she can’t act. Not only that her speaking voice just grates on me and I can’t imagine her carrying on such a big role that has already been done by two legends.
I have said this before, I will say it again…I so wish Hollywood would stop with the remakes. And more importantly, I wish people will stop going to see them. If they did that then maybe Hollywood try the concept of coming up with original movies.
