Justin Bieber is a huge fan of Chuck Norris (like my dad) and he Tweeted 2 pictures of him with a mustache like his idol. Thankfully for his fans, it was only a fake. But what saddened me about the pictures is that is how he probably will look in 20 years…
The #1 new show of the season (without DVR help) Blue Bloods will be testing out a new time slot in the new year. CBS announced today that it was giving the hit Friday night show a 4-week run on Wednesdays starting on January 19th. In turn they are moving The Defenders to Fridays at 8p to finish out its run for the season and then the new show Chaos will replace it on April 1st. Also ending its season early is Sh!t My Dad Says and it being replaced by the new Yes, Dear, Rules of Engagement on February 24th which is being replaced by the new sitcom Mad Love that Monday. Also joining the CBS lineup on February 16th is the Criminal Minds spinoff CM: Suspect Behavior which is joining the 2 NCISes, 3 CSIs and 3 Chuck Lorre sitcoms. BTW on that note congrats to NCIS for being the #! rated show of the season so far and knocking a reality show out of that honor. I also want to say hats off to Chuck Lorre for having the 3 top rated sitcoms on TV this season thus far.
When it comes to their choices, I am happy Blue Bloods is getting a test out on Wednesdays, but I really like The Defenders too and hope it gets a much needed ratings boost so it will be back next season, Because ending the season early like that is not boding well for the Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell legal drama nor William Shatner’s first attempt at a sitcom, on coming back in the fall. When it comes to Sh!t, the show has finally found its funny and I hope it is given a second chance.
Before Eric Dane was the doctor doing all the women on Grey’s Anatomy, he was voted “The Boy Most Likely to be Everybody Else” on The Wonder Years. The 18 year old actor is unrecognizable in that 1993 episode, but he was still absolutely doable even back then with that hair!
In two weeks V will be back for a second season on ABC at 9p and after watching the first 3 episodes all I can tell you is that the awesome “Offspring Announcement” that Warner Bros TV came up to promote it is perfect. I can’t tell you too much about what it is coming up, but what I can tell you is it is all about babies and rats. And as you can tell my cat loves the rat as much as Anna does…
So in case you can’t read what the rat wrapper says, it reads “Protein Sustenance for Hybrid Offspring: Feeding Instructions, 1 – Masticate protein, 2 – Regurgitate into mouth of offspring, 3 – Repeat as necessary.” What does that mean? Watch the new season and you will find out and it is better than you can ever imagine. It was seriously better than when Diana ate her mouse in the original series. Oh did I mention that Jane Badler is back and she looks just like she did when the series originally aired over 25 years ago!
If that didn’t rattle you enough, the baby teether reads “We Are of Peace Always” and you will have to check out V on Tuesday, January 4th at 9p to find out if that really is the case…
One last thing I will tell you about the second season of V, it is actually better than the first one and I loved the premiere season for the show!!!
