For some reason Sting decided to show his feminine side at The Almay Concert To Celebrate The Rainforest Fund’s 21st Birthday and you know what he makes a pretty woman. Back when Sting was a younger man playing with The Police, I thought he was a handsome man. But as he got older, he lost his looks to me. That was until I saw him dressed as a woman from the neck up because it actually makes him look nicer and not as haggard.
Scott Grimes Tweeted this video of him with Russell Crowe and two of the other Merry Men (Alan Doyle, Kevin Durand) from Robin Hood singing Sean Kingston’s Beautiful Girls at the Spanish Steps in Rome. You know what the quartet actually sound really good together, they should hit the road. They even have their group’s name already picked out for them…Russell Crowe and his Merry Men!
BTW maybe if they had made Robin Hood a musical the critics would have liked it more?
Donald Trump was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jay Leno showed him how the talking doll created in the Celebrity Apprentice boss’ image turns on. You have pull down the doll’s pants, bend it over to expose that behind the doll’s a$$hole is the on/off switch and then press it. If there was ever a more appropriate place for that button to be placed on his doll, I can’t think of one. Bloody perfect!
BTW you can watch Celebrity Apprentice tomorrow on NBC at 9p as the last final contestants become the final 2!
NBC is making my DVR very happy and me very unhappy because they announced that they have cancelled Heroes. The show that made us all wish we had a special power even if one of them or the world wanted to kill us, has been killed. Heroes made household names of Masi Oka, Milo Ventimiglia, Zachary Quinto, Ali Larter, Adrain Pasdar, James Kyson Lee and Greg Grunberg and they will all be fine even if I am not. Several of them have already signed on for other projects.
Hopefully NBC/Universal will let them do a goodbye movie because it would be nice if things could be resolved.
I know I am one of the few people who still loved this, but I am sure I am not the only one who will miss it…:(
Just a month after suffering a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage, Bret Michaels announced that he is planning on going back on the road at the end of the month. Not only is looking to jam again, he is also hoping to make it to The Celebrity Apprentice finale. My fingers are crossed he will be able to do it! He really has been quite impressive on the show! Three words…tour bus thrust!
Bret Michaels, who suffered a on April 22, just 10 days after an emergency appendectomy in San Antonio, Texas while on his Custom Built Tour, is planning on making his return to live performances Friday May 28, Memorial Day Weekend, at Hard Rock Live in Biloxi, Mississippi. This hard-rocking venue has hosted such acts as Kid Rock, Three Doors Down, Stevie Nicks and Daughtry.
Michaels, who has been rehabbing since his release from ICU, has increased his rehabilitation sessions to twice a day to prepare for his comeback on Friday May 28th at the Hard Rock in Biloxi, Mississippi and to continue on all of his solo dates as well as kicking off a tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd which begins June 10 in West Palm Beach, Florida at the Cruzan Amphitheater. “We have been overwhelmed with well wishes and offers that continue to pour in for Bret. And promoters have really stepped up to the plate to reschedule dates he missed. Which is a testament to Bret’s great live performances and friendships he has built over the years†states Brian Ahern from William Morris Endeavor Agency (WME).
The singer plans to remain on tour throughout the fall and early winter, with dates scheduled through December. Dates that were postponed due to the singer’s medical emergencies are currently being rescheduled.
Michaels, who continues to be a strong competitor on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice Sunday nights, is hoping to be able to return to New York, along with the rest of the cast, for the finale on Sunday May 23rd. Donald Trump says “We really hope that Bret is well and able to join us at the finale as Apprentice has hit some of its highest ratings ever and I have much respect as he is a fighter and strong competitor.†Michaels will be making his first televised appearance since being hospitalized on The Oprah Winfrey Show to air Wednesday May 19. His upcoming album Custom Built, featuring the hit song “Nothing to Lose” with Miley Cyrus, a remake of the Sublime song “What I Got,” as well as a rock and country remake of his hit song Every Rose Has It’s Thorn†featuring other artist such as Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, Brad Arnold of Three Doors Down, Chris Cagle and Mark Wills just to name a few. Custom Built is set to hit stores June 8.
When his doctor at the hospital said he has the incredible will to live, he wasn’t kidding. I just hope that same doctor doesn’t let him go on the road before he is ready.
