The stars at this year’s Cannes has been kind of lame this year, and in one feel swoop of her dress Paris Hilton shows us why. You can blame the Volcano for cancelling a lot of flights to the European city, but let’s be real when the big news from the film festival is that there was an arrest warrant out for Lindsay Lohan because she was in Cannes instead of at her LA court date you have to look else where for the blame. Hopefully next year Cannes will be back to its former glory, or they will have to look forward to more pictures of Paris Hilton’s a$$ to make news.
BTW Paris Hilton you are 29, can you please stop exposing your privates like a 2 year old? I really don’t want to see it and I am sure a lot of people feel the same way I do.
U2 announced on their site that Bono underwent emergency back surgery after suffering an injury while rehearsing for their upcoming tour dates.
Bono has today undergone emergency back surgery for an injury sustained during tour preparation training. He was admitted to a specialist neuro surgery unit in a Munich hospital, and is under the care of neuro surgeon Prof. Dr. Jorg Tonn and Dr Muller Wohlfahrt. Bono will spend the next few days there, before returning home to recuperate.
Once his condition has been assessed further, a statement will be made regarding the impact on forthcoming tour dates.
So far they announced that their June 3rd will be rescheduled.
No word how the 50 year old singer injured his back, but I am picturing he either did it bending over to pick something up or having sex with his wife. Chances are it wasn’t either and it was something boring, but I will keep picturing my scenarios.
BTW I still can’t believe Glee called U2’s hit One that came out in 1991 Classic Rock. I am sorry, but songs under 20 years old are not Classic Rock.

Janet Jackson was photographed in London with a very short do and all I want to know is why did she do that? Janet is a beautiful woman with a gorgeous face and she can totally pull it off, but why would she want to? Maybe it will look better when she styles it a little better, but what does she have left to style? Hopefully she will get a weave as soon as she can because that look is so not working for her.
In honor of Leonard Nimoy’s last role on Fox’s Fringe tonight because he said he is retiring after it, here is his first role in Queen for a Day. OMG how good looking was the 20 year in that 1951 movie. I have always only seen looking like Spock in Star Trek, but now I can see him as so much more! I hope he enjoys his retirement as much as we have enjoyed his acting!
