After 18 years of playing out Jay Leno on The Tonight Show (and for a few months The Jay Leno Show), Kevin Eubanks is playing himself off of the show in May. He is not sure what he will be doing next, but wouldn’t it be way awesome if he joined Conan O’Brien’s show on TBS?
Before Michael Clarke Duncan was walking The Green Mile, he was wrestling in Weird Science. I wouldn’t want to be in the ring with the 38 year old actor in that 1996 episode.
Michael Clarke Duncan read the most talked about passage from Jennifer Love Hewitt’s book The Day I Shot Cupid on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. How awesome was it to see the Oscar nominee read about the Ghost Whisperer star talking about Vajazzaling her ho-ha. He might’ve been robbed of the Oscar for his role in The Green Mile, but hopefully he will win an Emmy for reading about how J-Love “transformed into a bronze sex goddess with the prettiest ho-ha!” I can’t believe he kept a straight face while reading that passage, I am sure he will never look at Hewitt the same way and neither will the rest of us!
Check out The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight on CBS at 12:37a when his former Drew Carey Show co-star Kathy Kinney will be on the show. BTW I will finally be losing my Late Late Show virginity on Thursday because I am going to be part of the hobo audience with the two friends who got me into the show!!!
Team Coco fans rejoice because Conan O’Brien finally found a channel that wants to air his late night talk show. TBS who just got into the late night business with George Lopez last year is adding Conan O’Brien to their line up. The former Tonight Show host’s show will premiere on the cable channel in November at 11p and Lopez Tonight will be moving to 12m. So in other words Conan did a Jay Leno to George Lopez, but don’t worry he has no ill feelings about the deal because Lopez Tweeted this about the news, “I welcome @conanObrien to his new home at TBS .. A new generation of late night is about to begin !!” It will be interesting to see how long that lasts because now the two of them will be fighting for guests in the already over populated late night show circus here in LA.
Now back to Conan he said this about his new venture at TBS, “In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly.†Good that he sense of humor about it all and here is Conan O’Brien’s humor on Twitter confirming the news, “The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I’ll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show.” He will look good with pigtails.
So now that you know that Conan O’Brien is coming back to TV, will you watch or is he so last year?
Finally as I was about to publish this post, George Lopez Tweeted his crazy new slogan for TBS late night…”Team LO- CO”!!! I love it!!!
