Whenever Ricky Gervais is on a talk show you know it is going to be hilarious. So when he is on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show you expect that Jon Stewart will be able to handle him, right? Well as you will see in this interview, he can’t and he completely loses it. Gotta hand it to Ricky to get Jon Stewart to get out of his chair in hysterics and lose control of the interview like that. I so love when an talk show chat goes awry like that!
At least now we know if Jon Stewart spits or swallows!!! Watch the interview to find out how we know that little tidbit!
Finally how awesome would be if these award show hosts actually hosted a ceremony together? Forget Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, they would be the high in demand hosts…and you can throw Neil Patrick Harris and Hugh Jackman in for good measure!

Today is General Hospital’s 12,000th episode and to celebrate it they are debuting their new opening credits and I totally love them. I really like that they tell you not only the name of the actor, but what role they play! Plus it’s cool that the background is different locations in Port Charles. I just wish that the landmarks went with the characters that are being shown on the screen.
What do you think of the ABC’s soap’s first new opening credits since 2004?
BTW congrats to General Hospital to making it to 12,000 episodes, here is to 12,000 more…at least!
Craig Ferguson always jokes on The Late Late Show that he doesn’t have an audience and they are really a laugh track. Well tonight on CBS at 12:37a that really is going to be the case because he is going audience free while he interviews the very clever Stephen Fry. Craig Ferguson Tweeted yesterday:
Morning you magnificent bastards. Woke up with an idea that may worry the network & sponsors. HAHAetc. More later C x
I have decided to do tomorrows show with no audience. The entire episode will be a conversation with Stephen Fry. Why? Why not?
And then during his show he explained his decision to try this experiment. It is going to be interesting to see if it works, I know I will be watching CBS tonight at 12:37a to find out. If anyone can do it he can! I at least I hope he can.
BTW no word if he really will be using a laugh track tonight, now that would be funny!
UPDATE: Stephen Fry just Tweeted this after taping tonight’s “live” Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, “Mr @craigyferg was entirely charming. Most unusual Late Late Show. Him, me – no audience. There was breeze & we shot it, fat & we chewed it?” After reading that Tweet, I am even more excited to see tonight’s show on CBS at 12:37a!
UPDATE 2: Craig Ferguson just Tweeted this, “Just finished taping show with Stephen Fry & no audience. Thank God he is so erudite & generous. Odd show. Some will like it. Some won’t.” I am sure I will be one of the some that likes it!
UPDATE 3: Do you think Craig Ferguson’s experiment work? If you missed it, watch it here and let me know!
Before Lindsay Wagner was fighting crime as The Bionic Woman, she was the victim of a crime in Adam-12. How cute was it to see the 22 year old actress acting so nervous when she made her television debut in that 1971 episode.
