Jimmy Kimmel Live! turns 7 tonight on ABC at 12:06a with special guests Harrison Ford and Kristen Bell. The last time Harrison Ford was on the show, he was driving a car that said, “Honk if you are f*cking Ben Affleck” and he blew a kiss to the hottest couple of 2008…Ben Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel.
If you are an avid reader of my blog you know I am a huge fan of the show, so I am so excited that the show is celebrating it’s lucky 7 anniversary! Hopefully ABC won’t be going through the 7 year itch with the show this year…
Since today is a big anniversary I will share with you how I got into the show. I was not a fan of late night show nor Jimmy Kimmel (from his Man Show days), but my friend told me about a skit he did with evil Donny Osmond and I YouTubed and thought I will check out the show. Well my friend told me this at my birthday meal which is April’s Fool’s Day, so when I checked out the show Jimmy did one of the best practical jokes ever and I was hooked. You can see that joke which is Jimmy’s and my favorite bit that he has done on the show up until now. But that could all change tonight because I am sure he will do something outrageous to celebrate the milestone!!!
Talk about a remake that should be dead like the lead character in the movie and that film is Weekend at Bernie’s. Moviehole is reporting that Gladden Entertainment is redoing the Andrew McCarthy/Jonathan Silverman flick, but instead of at a beach they will do it at a ski lodge. Because we all know dead bodies smell better in the cold as compared to the hot summer sun. Seriously why? Weekend a Bernie’s is a cult classic that is fine the way it is and it doesn’t need to be put on ice with a crappy remake.
BTW Gladden Entertainment is also working on remaking another one of Andrew McCarthy’s film’s Mannequin. I don’t know what their obsession with him is, but why do we have to suffer for it. Actually it is kind of scary how obsessed they are with Andrew McCarthy movies, they better not f*ck with Pretty in Pink because there will be nothing pretty about that.

WHDH’s Chief Meteorologist Pete Bouchard was talking about how many inches of snow had fallen in the Boston area and as he was reading how much had falled, he then said, “The biggest amount I could find, almost as big as me, about 9 inches!” Do you think he is saying that his peepee his over 9″? I would think by the little dance he was doing, we can assume the answer is yes. Personally I found that bopping thing he was doing more offensive than the fact that he is probably lying about how big his weather stick is…
Let’s Got to the Mall and celebrate because CBS has renewed How I Met Your Mother for a 6th season according to The Hollywood Reporter. HIMYM used to be a bubble show that would have to wait until the upfronts to find it if it was going to be renewed, but for the last few years (and Neil Patrick Harris hosting everything but the Oscars) CBS has been picking the show up earlier and earlier and I don’t have s problem with that! Although I really haven’t been feeling this season as much as the others, it could be because I really hated the smoking episode that just seemed really out of place for the series.
