We start saying goodbye to Monk tonight
August 7th, 2009 under Tony Shalhoub, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p it is the season premiere of USA’s Monk and it is bittersweet. It’s bittersweet because this the last season for the Emmy winning show. And even though I teared up knowing it’s the last season premiere of the show, I quickly got over that because tonight’s show is one of the best ones yet!
Tonight’s Monk, Tony Shaloub is set to meet his favorite actress at a book signing, but when someone tries to blow her up he winds up becoming her bodyguard. Monk is all excited to work for his Marcia Brady like actress who released a book that is so scandalous that everyone is trying to hide it from him…especially one page. The antics that go on during this episode will make you enjoy every minute of what is left of the show that has brought so many smiles to a lot of people.
So tune into USA tonight at 9p and for the next 22 Fridays to watch the last episodes of Monk!
And make sure to stick around for USA’s Psych at 10p, a show that is like wine…it gets better as it ages! Next week I will share with you what Dule Hill and James Roday said about the upcoming season!

Jimmy Kimmel gives Sienna Miller’s career a lift
August 7th, 2009 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: 1 ]

Last night Sienna Miller was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! seconds before she was set to walk the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie GI Joe that was across the street from the JKL studio. So Jimmy Kimmel’s show spent $35,000 to rent a crane so that they can give her career a much needed boost and have her make a grand entrance her premiere like no one else has or probably will again. That looked like a lot of fun, maybe not so much for Jimmy Kimmel who is afraid of heights.
BTW I hope that he survived. I am assuming he did because I was talking to a publicist for the show at the Fox TCA party and she told me to watch it because it is funny and she wouldn’t have told that if he went splat, right? I mean I really don’t want to re-arrange my Friday plans because I am going to the show tonight to watch the biggest Inglourious Basterd Quentin Tarantino being interviewed by Kimmel and without a host it won’t be as much fun! So make sure to see if he survived long enough for Tarantino to Kill Kimmel tonight on ABC at 12:05a!

BTWF roles: Chi McBride on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
August 6th, 2009 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: 1 ]

(starts at 10:20 in)

Before Chi McBride was a Human Target Pushing Daisies, he was a DJ Pushing to talk to his Human Targets on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. What is up with that patch of hair on the 30 year old’s head in that 1992 episode?
