Dang what has Denise Richards done to herself? Seriously she needs to lay off the tanning because that look is way scary. Remember that scene in Final Destination 3 where the two girls were tanning bed baked to death? Seeing Denise makes me wonder is that is what they would’ve liked had they lived?
Here is the scene from Final Destination 3, I was talking about. Please don’t forget The Final Destiantion aka FD4 is out on August 28th, and I so can’t wait to see this movie!!!
Remember that scene where Jules aka Demi Moore tries to off herself in St Elmo’s Fire? Well that’s how I feel after the news that ABC is remaking the classic Brat Pack movie into a dramedy according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series version will use the movie as a takeoff point and as an inspiration as it introduces six new friends: three boys and three girls.
What will remain is the setting — Georgetown and St. Elmo’s Bar & Restaurant, now called St. Elmo’s Bar & Grill, where the friends hang out. And if the set-up looks a little bit like “Friends,” that’s OK with Bucatinsky.
“I feel it is time to re-create ‘Friends’ in the hourlong genre and feel like this is the perfect opportunity,” he said.
Another example of Hollywood claiming it is making a remake, but really it has barely anything to do with the original and they are just too lazy to let it try to stand on its own. BTW Joel Schumacher, who worked on the movie will serve as EP on the show. Also working on it is That ’70s Show’s Topher Grace, who I wonder will cast himself in one of the lead roles. What happened to his acting career anyways?
But back to St Elmo’s Fire, do any of you plan on checking it out if ABC decides to pick it up? Maybe if we let them know now, we don’t want it they won’t let it go past the script order phase???
Stand By Me actor Jerry O’Connell is taking a stand by going to law school. Yes, you read that right. According to Us Weekly the 35 year old new father of twins is a first year student at Southwestern Law School.
“He is very excited to be starting his law school education here at Southwestern,” Leslie Steinberg, the school’s Assistant Dean of Public Affairs, tells Us. “He just had orientation last week, and he started classes this week.”
She adds that O’Connell decided to enroll there because he was “very impressed with the faculty and the vibe here. This is brand new to him as well. He’s very much looking forward to his education.”
Out of all celebrities I pictured going to law school, Jerry O’Connell was no where the top or the middle of the list.
Mariah Carey has been cancelling appearances left and right and now it looks like we know why, the release of her album was delayed once again. She announced on her site that Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel which at first was due to be August 25th, then on September 15th, is now coming out on August 29th. She said that she is still putting finishing touches on the CD. That doesn’t sound good for her new album, and considering how bad Obsessed is maybe she needs more than another two weeks?
