After seven weeks of waiting to see if Susan Boyle would win the competition that made her a worldwide sensation, the world will watch on the net that she came in second. Not sure why she didn’t win, if it was the overexposure or the fact that she sang the same the song or the winners Diversity were amazing played in to it, but I am OK with someone else winning. With all the hype for her, and yes she was amazing. it was nice to see someone who deserved to win did. Susan Boyle will be OK and maybe now she can back to her normal life because according to the latest reports the pressure of fame was getting to her.
Leave it to Katy Perry to dress up for Japan's MTV Music Awards with an outfit full of sushi. I wonder if they will eat her when she is done performing.
Pushing Daisies is back on ABC tonight at 10p to burn off its final episodes. The final three episodes will air at 10p for the next three weeks. While I am sad to see this quirky little show go, I am glad at least ABC finally decided to air the last episodes.
Scott Baio and his wife Renee’ are holding their first Celebrity Baby Yard Sale tomorrow to raise money for their charity, Bailey Baio Angel Foundation. BBAF was started after their daughter Bailey tested positive for GA-1, but 10 weeks later they found out that it was a false positive. Instead of taking the blessing and moving on, The Baios stated the foundation to raise awareness about organic metabolic disorders and the importance and necessity of expanded newborn screening for all babies. This is such an important cause and we should all support them get the word out.
So if you are in LA, please stop by the Sportsmens Lodge at Coldwater Canyon and Ventura Blvd tomorrow between 8a-4p and buy on some of the awesome items that were donated for their first event. You never know who you might to see? Plus I hear it is going to be a lot of fun and it is for a great cause!!!
Before we got to know The Wilson Brothers in The Royal Tennenbaums, they worked together in the 15 minute short Bottle Rocket. While the 22 year Luke Wilson looks the same as he did in 1994, the 25 year old Owen looks so different with the crew cut. I am glad Owen let his hair grow out because he looks better with the longer blonde locks!
