Out of all the movies to remake, Drop Dead Fred should be on the bottom of the list. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, it is on the top of Universal’s list to be done. But wait the news gets worse, not only in this bad economy are they wasting money on doing this, but they hired Russell Brand to play Fred.
Here is what the new movie will be about according to THR, “The take for the new “Fred” is to make a film in the tone of “Beetlejuice,” building a universe around the concept of imaginary friends. Brand would play the trouble-making pal.” Um, sounds like a new movie so why say it is a remake of Drop Dead Fred? Just saying.
The new movie is tentatively called Fred, I personally call it Sh!t!!!
Scrubs was suppose to die last year, but miraculously it survived when ABC ignored the DNR and decided to pick it up. So when it started to air on ABC and the ratings were poo, you would think that the man that helped to create it who is now running the network, would to do the humane thing and let the show die. But now comes word from Variety that Stephen McPherson is in talks to bring the show back for another season. Stephen it is time to pull the plug and let the Scrubs die. It will be OK. Let it go, it is time. And keeping the show alive is cruel and unusual punishment for everyone who works on the show and the few people left who still watch it.
Michael Jackson took his kids, at least I think it his kids because I can't tell if its them behind their masks, out shopping. Is just me or do the boys look unhappy with their masks? Seriously he should get them some cool ones like an Iron Man, Terminator or Michael Jackson or something like that!
BTW on a positive note for Michael Jackson, he was ahead of the times with the mask thing. Look how many people are now donning the same look thanks to the media scaring the sh!t out of us with the swine flu.
It is no secret that before the competition, Gilles Marini separated his shoulder and would require surgery once the season ends. So does Cheryl Burke ease up him, it seems like even though he has to go to the doctor and get a cortisone shot? Nope she gives him lifts, and then gets mad and scolds him when he can’t do lifts. What a b!tch. Seriously can she be more about herself and not about her partner? And did you hear Gilles tell Samantha Harris, I will be OK as long as I don’t have to do lifts. Listen to him Cheryl because you can’t win Dancing with the Stars and the mirror ball trophy if your partner has to quit the show due to injuries. BTW what does Cheryl do to her partners, that two of them hurt their arms so badly that their injuries require surgery. Don’t forget about poor Cristian de la Fuente?
