So American Idol changed things up this season and they let the Judges put through their Wild Card choices to the Top 13 instead of us. The Judges thought they knew what we wanted, but by the results they are not in tune with us. The bottom 3 was made up of 3 out of the 4 Wild Card choices. So maybe next year when they are thinking of changes to the show…The Judges will not be allowed to pick who moves on anymore.
The one good thing about the eliminations, is before them I thought I was the only who didn't get Anoop but seems like I am not the only one!!!
We haven't even gotten to the second week of Dancing with the Stars and there are two more injuries to add to the list bringing the total to 4. Unlike Jewel and Nancy O'Dell, Steve Wozniak and Gilles Marini are vowing to continue on.
Pacific Coast News Online photographed The Woz with a cast and he told them that he fractured his foot. They also said just like Mac he will continue on on Monday night.
Also dancing on the hit ABC show is Gilles Marini, TheInsider.com is reporting that he suffered a separated shoulder.
While Gilles should be safe from being in the bottom 2 on Tuesday, The Woz probably will not be. And here is what he might have to face in the new Dance Off!
In a thrilling new twist, the bottom two couples facing elimination, determined by the lowest combined viewer votes and judges’ scores from the first two weeks of thecompetition, will “Dance Off” to determine who is dismissed in the first Results Show. The couples will select one of the two dances they have performed to dance for new scores from the judges for that specific dance. The judges’ scores from the “Dance Off” performance will replace their scores from the first two weeks. A combination of just the new judges’ scores from the “Dance Off” dance, along with viewers votes from both Mondays’ shows, will be calculated following the “Dance Off” to determine the eliminated couple.
I kind of like the changes for the elimination, I wonder how many weeks they will do that for. Or will they need to do eliminations because these dancers are dropping faster than flies.
UPDATE: Make that 3 injured stars, according TheInsider.com Steve-O is suffering from pinched nerves in his back.
"A physical therapist has told me that nerves are being pinched in my back and it is in spasms because of inflammation related to torn muscles. I'm doing everything I can to let it heal; icing it, taking Advil, drinking water, visiting a chiropractor, and continuing to be worked on by the physical therapist. I'm still rehearsing every day, but walking through my salsa routine, rather than practicing the physical stunts and tricks that are incorporated into it. It is going to be a risky routine that I hope to pull off."
Who isn't injured on Dancing with the Injured Stars?
Broadway continues its unoriginality run with the ’80s cult classic movie Heathers. The movie is being turned into a musical according to Reuters. The director of Race to Witch Mountain is trying to the bring the show to stage next year and I hope he isn’t successful. While in ways I think it could work if it is way out there and the music is bizarre enough, but I just can’t picture how some of those scenes that made the movie what it was translating to the stage with the same effect that the movie had. Veronica and JD need to put a stop to this in their own special way!

Finally after months of horrible acting, bad writting and lies by the show’s creator we find out what is wrong with Dr Izzie Stevens aka Kathering Heigl on Grey’s Anatomy tonight on ABC at 10p and I hope that her cancer is terminal!!! That and I pray she doesn’t win another Emmy because of the cancer storyline. Those Emmy voters love that sh!t.
Joaquin was doing his “Rap” at LIV in Miami, at a concert sponsored by Belvedere 1X, when a fan decided to heckle his rapping. Joaquin didn’t take to well to the reaction by his fan, so he decided to jump off the stage and confront him according to AP.
“We have a (double-expletive) in the audience,” he said before jumping into the crowd. It was not immediately clear whether the two men exchanged any blows.
“I saw the guy screaming at Joaquin, and Joaquin just came down,” said Jorge Lledo, 30, of Miami Beach.
The bizarre spectacle struck many in the audience as the latest prank in an extended farce staged by Phoenix. Affleck, an Oscar-nominated actor who is also Phoenix’s brother-in-law, is making a documentary about Phoenix’s career shift.
“(Affleck’s) camera was filming the whole time, so it makes me think he has ulterior motives,” said Luis Gendron, 23, of Miami.
“He knows the game he’s playing, and he’s good at it,” Gendron said of Phoenix.
Gotta love Joaquin. You never know what he is going to do next, but the one thing you know is that it will be crazier than the last thing he did. The things Casey Affleck and him will do for their documentary, I wonder what they will come up with next?
