More Star Trek toys are coming!!! |

First it was announced that there were going to be 3 Star Trek Barbie dolls, now comes word there is going to be so much for you Trekkies to enjoy!!!
The first phase of the new Star Trek toys will include:
- three scales of life-like, fully-articulated action figures (3.75", 6", 12") come with removable utility belts, phasers, communicators and other accessories. ($6.99, $8.99, $29.99)
- the USS Enterprise. The updated vessel from the new film includes lights and emits sound effects and actual film dialogue between the Kirk and Spock characters. It rests on a Starfleet shield base that attaches via a ball-and-socket tip that lets the ship pivot 360 degrees. ($30)
- basic role-play toys boasting exciting electronic features including the Communicator, Phaser and Tricorder ($15 each)
- amazing and intricate playsets with working lights and sounds that are compatible with the 3.75" action figures including the Enterprise Bridge($25) and the Transporter Room playset ($30)
The reasonably priced toys will be available at all major retailers on April 19th!!! They are the perfect gifts for that special Trekkie in our lives. And let's admit it, we all have one!!!

Are Samantha Who? and Ugly Betty in trouble? |

ABC just announced they are changing Thursday up and they are replacing Ugly Betty with Samantha Who? and In The Motherhood starting on March 26th. Both comedies will finish their runs before Ugly Betty returns…if it returns? With this announcement I wonder if both shows, that have been declining, are in trouble for being picked up for next season because it is never a good sign when a show is yanked from the schedule. Also both shows have received noms for their lead actress at several big awards shows, but neither have brought home the gold for the last few years. And those wins help to keep a show on the air, look what happened to Boston Legal when it garnered no wins.
So when it comes to which show I want to be saved, hands down it would be Samantha Who? which still makes me laugh unlike Ugly Betty which seems like the same thing every week. Betty screws up, but eventually saves the day. Then again I could be just reading to much into it

Before we got to know Jesse Spencer on House, he wore a lot less clothes on the Aussie show Neighbours!!! Note to the producers of House, can we have more Speedos scenes with Dr Chase on the show, it would totally help the ratings!!! BTW don’t forget you can see the fully-clothed Jesse Spencer on House tonight at 8p on Fox!!!

I think it is a lot of fun to see celebs before we knew them doing commercials, music videos, TV guest appearances, game show contestants, Soap Operas or bit parts in movies! I noticed a few weeks ago that Mickey Rourke was doing the Al Bundy on the red carpet, but thought that was a one time deal. Then I saw him doing it again at the SAG Awards and I am wondering what is up with that pose? I feel bad for all those people that were touched by the hand that he kept in his pants. Seriously ewwwwww.

Gene Simmons aka Dr. Love is the latest celebrity "Dr" to do a Dr Pepper commercial for their popular campaign "Trust Me, I’m a Doctor". Not only is Dr Love in it, but so is the future Dr Love-in-Training, his son Nick Simmons!!! If those pictures are any hint how good the ad is going to be, I can't wait to see the finished product!!!
